They'll build a system that benefits them but not 3rd party devs who make up most of the industry. Same as usual.
Not everyone that owns an Xbox likes or cares about Killer instinct. Many don't even know what it is. Street Fighter is a world wide recognized fighting game series and has been around longer than Killer instinct, had better games on average than Killer instinct, and sold more than Killer instinct.
Now when the younger generation of fighting game players grow up, they'll think of Playstation and not Xbox or Nintendo with the exception of Smash Bros for Nintendo and Killer instinct for Xbox
Not only is Street Fighter 5 being only on PS4 effecting Xbox as a whole, but so are other fighting games selling more on PS4.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse - Sold more on PS4
Injustice - Only has a PS4 version no X...

Wii U doesn't get 3rd party games and it's only supported by Nintendo
Xbone does get lots of 3rd party games, but they run better on PS4, AND it won't be getting many Japanese games outside of the big mainstream games like FFXV and KH3. Just little trickles here and there.

That had nothing to do with what I said. Brands strength is real. Yes many people are console preferrers like myself so it won't mean much but there are many who may be on the fence on whether to get an Xbone for exclusives or just stick with PC/another console.
Nintendo makes their home consoles for their benefit and their benefit alone. Not sure why everyone's hope is still so high. Many 3rd party publishers left their home consoles a long time ago once Playstation took hold.
By letting all these Xbone exclusives go to PC, it is devaluing the Xbox brand itself. It is giving Playstation that much more strength. Xbox is honestly the only console brand from stopping the Playstation home consoles from having a complete monopoly like back in the PS1/PS2 era. Quantum break is just a small step.
The Xbox brand is greatly hurt by not having a street fighter. This could mean a lot next generation.
If you can just buy the disc version. It's what I do. I beat one game at a time so I can just install the game, beat it, put it away if disc and delete it if download, and install a new game.

I don't really need an Xbox. PS4 caters to all of my needs from all genres and as an adult I have to prioritize my time and money.

Eventually publishers are going to have to tell the digital sale figures because they rack in lots of money and sales. People will always prefer physical though but digital gaming isn't so bad when the games are cheap. No way I'll pay $60 for a digital copy.

Of course it will still sell. I'm saying that many people like myself don't buy $60 games at least not all that often. I don't want to pay that much for a game sorry. I wait until they're cheap.
