A big no.
It was a last second deal to keep it exclusive and the only fact that comes close to what you are trying to say was that Sony kept the specs of the ps4 close to the chest and did not release it to EA on time to get the game. The PS3 code was already written so there was no turn down from Sony.
How can an affiliate of Microsoft be in bed with Sony?
And bringing in PC this gen to downplay the ps4 versions is a godsend.
@PoniesLoveThis
When do we start the smear campaign for Microsoft and "da cloud" power that is now the "Scorpio"?
One is releasing a product that works as is on current systems with a large library... the other was a flat out sales pitch lie.
I will take a jump in performance as a choice without a need to upgrade to enjoy over having to buy a whole new console just to play games at 1080p or higher that are stable and to be able to enjoy vr.
It is the Xbox one it self that the latency is in.
Some games are better but the more they push the graphics on a game, the more latency was built in to make up for the lack of horsepower.
The difference is huge especially when compared to the 360 or ps4.
Destiny is another example. Night and day between ps4 and Xbox one.
Now we just need Microsofts affiliates, such as npd and vgcharts, to use sonys shipped numbers like they do for Microsoft and then it will be alright.
Not arguing nor saying it can, but I thought the Xbox one has hdmi 2.0?
Have not played it, but the one thing I see no one talking about is the boss encounters...
Are there none in the game like in the previous?
You are not understanding, it is not about making people just move, it is creating roadblocks in the os that makes things like steam broken on the PC unless they adapt to Windows.
It is their long running bloodline of programming competitors out of their desired market.
Ummm you can just look up Microsofts history of monopolizing through their os and purchases of other companies.
This is literally their backbone.
Hey everybody, the only thing to defend Microsoft with is their wallets! Yay!
Nothing better than a company that makes "billions" due to marketing and advertising and not their actual products. :/
What exclusives? That is the point. They use their wallets on third party games and not making games.
Microsofts entire history is to monopolize in order to make their products relevant.
There is a reason they have been sued numerous of times for this.
If they do not have the "exclusives" now that moves gaming hardware, how in the world would they become relevant on the PC?
therioes? How about history?
@dlconspiracy
I want Microsoft out of gaming. 100%
They are nothing but toxic.
They are not a gaming company, they are a marketing advertising company trying to monopolize their way into what it is they say they want.
They bring in their wallets and try to do damage against whoever they deem who their rival is.
They 100% admitted that the reason they got in to gaming was to create a Trojan horse and did not like sonys solo direction in dominating ...
Hardware is down 33% and the 360 has not moved for a lot more than just this year.
First year, the Xbox one only saw 4 months of a positive market growth.
Second year, Microsoft sold the lowest amount of consoles with the Xbox one since the original Xbox.
Third year saw a good increase over the previous year but not by much this still leaving it way down from showing any growth over the previous gen.
Down 9% in revenue because of the 360 with 33% down in ha...
What about when day ones were "sold out"? Was that fans or marketing pr lies because we all know they did not sell out and were available for quite some time.
Microsoft has been caught with their pr lies more than anything any fan on n4g has been.
Well, when vgcharts does a favor for Microsoft and count their shipped numbers vs sonys sold through numbers, they should praise them for making them look as good as They do.
@rainslacker
Although very well put...
You are missing the bigger picture.
Microsofts bloodline is marketing and advertising. Being manipulative through the media.
I strictly remember Microsofts, the medias, and the overnight opinion piece authors major flaunt of "exclusives" last fall..,
Now, they are trying to change the definition due to Microsofts play anywhere.
It is one thing to have an opinion but to hide comments because ...
Title should read "no mans sky and the terrible affect of the gaming media".
This game has been shown for what it exactly is and the only articles, that are almost daily now, have either been negative or will the game live up to the hype.
Can any of the idiots who write these articles actually show the hype instead of the blatant fact of who's wallet they are sucking on?
The gaming media, been trying to kill gaming since 2001.
