Not even that, has too many small issues that do add up to not be a great piece of hardware, its a good piece of hardware that will have great software, as Nintendo consoles always do.
I remember that, don't know where all that money went, because on games it was definitely not spent, with 2 billion they should have at least Twenty (20) $ 100 million games, those would be 20 AAA games with budgets rivaling big Hollywood movies.
We didn't even got 5.
Yeah it was not developed by Microsoft, but it was an exclusive and it was shown as a marquee title on their 2015 E3, If i remember correctly they even got Dean Hall on stage to present it.
I guess the Ps4 will have to "survive" without it, with it's desperate need for games and all. /S
This is borderline pathetic now, how can I take seriously a Microsoft games reveal when there's like a 70% chance it's going to get cancelled if it's not one of the big 3 (Halo, Gears, Forza).
They just show stuff to bloat their presentations.
Well, another one bites the dust, I guess you could start to see a trend with Microsoft here.
Wasn't the Switch supposed to have memory sticks for games instead of Discs 'cause you know, loading times and stuff??
Phil Spencer On His Japan Trip:
"I ate Sushi... It was good"
Save them for what? looking at them on the menu? some weapons break with at most 10 hits, that's crazy low.
Yeah, the more people play it, the more the shortfalls are more apparent, still an amazing game, definitely a big, big step in the right direction for the series and for Nintendo and a high 9 for sure, but not Game of The Generation as most sites are making it out to be.
@Game4Funz
Ok, so they deducted points because on a 20+ hour game the reviewer wanted the character dramas to resolute 5 hours in, that makes super sense. They did mention pop-ins and framerate issues on the review and you can be sure that they deducted points for that, Nier was never going to be a perfect game, but if you're going to mention those issues and account them at the moment of scoring, you can't do it for some games and others don't.
On Ign they scored Nier 8.9 because of technical issues like Pop-ins and framerate issues, but on the same site Zelda got 10/10 with technical issues like Frame rate drops on the Wii U AND the Switch when docked.
I'm not saying Zelda doesn't deserve high scores because it obviously does, high 9's and 10's, sure, but don't deduct points from one game for some things when for another the week before you didn't.
Lol, still using friend codes? Do you know it by heart or had to write it down?
Why Nintendo? Why?!!
"*Switch may not work in proximity to any other devices enjoyed by Western civilization."
"Don't see what the big deal is people! As long as you play it naked in the middle of an empty room with no other electronics you're just fine."
Saw these 2 comments on the Ign comments on this topic, so funny and sadly true.
Or in this case what they end NOT doing.
They need to add big publishers, Multiplatform games or it's going to get criticized from the general public as much as the Vita for "only" having Indie games in the later stages of it's life (And this is coming from someone who LOVES his Vita), The Switch can't succeed with only Indie and Nintendo games.
when you have more than 10 sites with 10/10, you can see a tendency in that direction, the lone 5/10 is the one that sticks out like a sore thumb, specially when it gets the average down one or even two points, 'cause according to Metacritic not all sites have the same weight, and we don't even know how they choose who is more important than the other.
Looks SO good!.
YES!! love these kind of games, shooters like Dead Nation and Alienation, this look amazing, hopefully we'll get even more from now on.
Yeah, where is EddieNX to say that BOTW is a 98 and you know... other stuff, like, you know... stuff, well maybe just that, yeah, that's all he has to say.
