So by time you got the equivalent from MS you have already spent well over $600.00.
I have a feeling the only people not feeling good about the PS4 are MS & their diehard fanboys.

This is why I support the PS brand. Even with the new console just over the horizon Sony is still releasing amazing new IP's like TLOU. MS on the other hand hasn't released a new 1st party core exclusive in around 4 years.
I'm gonna grab Silent Hill for my Vita for 7 bucks.
Sony sold me on the PS4 based on their past consoles and the support they gave all 3 even after their replacements were released.
MS on the other hand single handily made me not want to buy the XB1 or even support the Xbox brand at all anymore after owning their first 2 consoles. All's that it took was for MS to show me what their future of the gaming industry is and what they want it to be and that was enough to make me never support their brand again.
I wonder if they tried real real real hard if they could get 2 schools of fish to swim away at the same time! That would bring the gaming world to it's knees at the sheer awesomeness of such a feat.

The WiiU is a system that is caught between console generations imo. It is stronger than the current consoles but will be much weaker than the coming consoles.
I won't be fully ready until my 30+ game backlog gets cleaned up. So I will be splitting time between the PS4 & PS3 for awhile.
I'm hoping to see something new from QD at next years E3 seeing that Beyond releases in like 2 months.

There is one thing that some people I believe have over looked when it comes to the PS4 and it's entertainment features.
Sony owns movie studios, TV studios & publishes a ton of top music artists under their label. So Sony is in a great position to get all kinds of exclusive content via those holdings.

Sony still has a bunch of studios who have yet to reveal what they are working on so I would expect announcements at both Gamescon & TGS.
to me it's because I have no faith in MS to not do another 180 and put all the BS DRM back in. Since the reveal they have done nothing but misinform people, try to spin everything negative and if all else failed just out right lie about it.
To each their own but I personally feel MS is just bad as a whole for the gaming industry in general especially after they showed us the future they are pushing for.

well the 360 was a heavily pirated console from a software perspective. Basically every big game getting released was available prelaunch thanks to the pirates. So i could see the publishers going after MS more than the other console makers to fix that issue.
I would swap out Batman for Assassins Creed even though I am totally burned out on the series do to yearly releases
I get my COD for free when my friend picks up his yearly release. I still haven't found the time to play MW3 and I will get BLOPS2 this November when he picks up Ghost.
I just don't feel COD is worth the money or worth jumping it to the top of the back log pile.
the emotion engine changed the easy development of the PS1 days when the PS2 came out. It just wasn't as drastic a learning curve as the cell was.
But according to MS this is only possible with DRM and you not actually owning your games.
