I'm sorry but having a Halo 4 & Crysis 3 person working on a JRPG kind of doesn't sit right with me for some reason. Here's to hoping for the best because I love JRPG's.

I have always bought consoles at launch since I've been old enough to work and earn the money to pay for them ( mid 80's ) and to me the best PS3's were the launch models with all the card readers,4 USB ports and full B/C and this is the reason to buy launch models so you don't end up wit a stripped down system like the current PS3's.

Maybe just maybe instead of pricing the console to make a profit sell it at cost for a few years until the component pricing comes down. Make the money off of software sales. On the subject of software they need a more steady stream of good games both 1st party & 2nd / 3rd party. 2nd & 3rd party will come if the console sales go up which they will if Ninty priced it competitively.
problem is the same scumbag company is behind the product and it's just a matter of time before they start trying to put all the BS back in via updates & new TOS's.

Sony will state that the PS4 will be available 1 month from the announcement which would give it a Friday 10-18-13 launch date. I would have said 10-19-13 since the conference is on 09-19 but that's a Saturday so I went with Friday 10-18.

It will take more than fish AI from circa 1990 to make me even considered buying another COD game, the last one I actually bought was MW2 and BLOPS, MW3 were given to me when my friend but the newest yearly release and he will give me BLOPS 2 in November when he gets the new one.

LOL, out of all the console developers out their the last team I would worry about is ND. IMHO they have destroyed
every other console developer with their games in every aspect.
If ND says the engine is good enough for next gen I believe them based on their past games.
I would think the standard edition would come after those who order launch day bundles. Standard edition were never guaranteed for launch day where the bundles where. Amazon also couldn't just switch the order over because of the $100 difference in price from the standard edition to the bundle.
If they did get more unbundled units available for launch day delivery Amazon would email you a order updated letting you know you're getting a launch model.
from a sales stand point yes they did, but from a games stand point they didn't imho.

Nascar is physically demanding when your in a 200 degree car for like 3-4 hours doing 180 mph's you need to be in great shape to handle that physically.
Any fat out of shape slob can shoot a gun or hit a cue ball with a stick.
To me sports is something that is physical and that you need to have endurance to do.
MS also had lots of new IP's and exclusives when the 360 launched too but what have they done for the last 4 years? NOTHING!!!! Expect more of the same once they it a certain sales with the XB1 plateau and their focus shifts to the casual again.
So I prefer to stick with a console maker who supports their customer the whole generation and even after the next console gen starts and that is definitely not MS and they have proven that over 2 generations of gaming consoles an...

they are putting out Drive Club on PS+ at release which is a new PS4 game. While I do agree that some of the games will be indie titles I also think that once Gakai is fully integrated and operational that we will also get PS3 games again too.
then why haven't they released a new 1st/2nd party core IP in like 4 years? Don't give me the focus was on making the Xbone either, that is just a BS cop out! Sony have been making the PS4 in the same time frame but was still able to release new 1st party games( 1 of which is a game of the gemeration ) at the same time so like I said MS focusing on the Bone is just a BS answer.
