It is still early in prototype development. Lets hope this fare better than the infamous Milo and Kate demo or that virtual Skateboard scanning demo of the Kinect infomercial.

Not virtually identical, as I can do Snap, Screenshot, DVR, broadcasting and any other newly added features for XB1 when I play it on my XB1 that I can't do on my X360 as with all my other X360 games that will be BC. :)
Besides, I don't have enough space and HDMI ports for all my systems in the entertainment unit.
totally off-topic really as the topic at hand is about who will win in quality of games and not sales in 2015. The Wii was the peoples' choice for a few years early last generation as well as far as sales and did it releases more popular content and better games than the X360 or PS3?
So let me ask you, if you have to pick a side this year of games you want to play as far as exclusives, is it the PS4 or XB1? Be honest now. I already gave my list and reasons in post #7, so ...

I totally agreed with the assessment that Panzer Dragoon 2 needs a sequel. Heck, I would be happy if the game is bought over somehow to PSN and Live via digital download. One of the most underrated game in the history of videogame. Sega was awesome back in those days with the games they were making. Sadly, those days are long gone now.

Com on, there should be a quota of how many of these same pointless articles we get per day. The xbox camp will say they won because they have 3 AAAA titles this Fall and the PS4 fan camp will bring up listwar and show all those 44 games this year to prove otherwise. It is like Groundhog Day.
For me personally, it all comes down to how many exclusive games I am buying in a year and determine which camp have the better year.

I still have 2 Sega Saturn consoles that I bought from the pawn shop. Games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, the 3 part Shining force 3, and of course those 2D fighters are what made this system a cult classic. Still play some of those games from time to time.
bummer, was really hoping they would be there for the simple fact a slim chance Lost Odyssey sequel would be announced. Of well, hoping to play Lost Odyssey 1 on XB1 again via BC this Fall. At least make that happen, MS.

I will be hated on for this yet again but as both a PS4 and XB1 owner, I am not going to lie, I'll take the XB1 shorter list over any of those PS4 titles that you had mention with the exception of Bloodborne. But, like I said, it is just my proragative. People make their own choices so if you feel like those PS3 titles are better, more power to you and enjoy but why do you keep making that list of comparing both sides when this article clearly is just about...
Anything that vgchartz posted should be consider rumors. It is going to be a lot worst now since Creamsugar of NEOGAF that leak those monthly NPD hardware sales had retired. Vgchartz made their adjustment, at least on the USA side, based on those monthly NPD figures.
It is pretty much slim picking so far as far as retail AAA games are concern on XB1 so far this year but Ori, the monthly character reveal of KI season 2 up to the recent story mode keep me busy every month on XB1. Also got 2 free expansion in the Forza Furious 7 game and Halo ODST HD were also great . Other than that, my PS4 with Bloodborne, MKX, Batman and Witcher 3 on PC had kept me busy so far. That will change though with Rare replay, Gears HD on Aug, Forza 6 in sept, Halo 5 in Oct, and ...
Another great Sony guy. Glad he is on the team. I remembered him being the first person to response regarding fans fear of DRM and always needing internet connection being implemented on PS4 by comforting us PS fans and made sure our voices could be heard.
Disagree tbh. You can't compare this with PS Now. PS Now uses the Netflix model. It is essentially a member paying $20 or $15 a month to gain access to a catelog of games and publisher get pennies if they were to include their games on the PS Now. That is why you don't see many third party games on that service because essentially by making it available on PS Now, people that subscribe to that service will affect sales of these PS3 games.

I don't see Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or 2 too high on the list, and Ubisoft is even giving those 2 free via BC with this year's Rainbow Six. :)

The Gears HD PC version is not actually releasing on Aug 25th as the XB1 version. It has no release date ATM so maybe it might take a while for it to arrive on PC. Just to let you know in case you were planning to cross play with XB1 gamers in Aug with your PC.
Also, you do realized Gears 1 was already on PC many years ago, right? So this is just like an updated remaster version on PC so don't plan your hope on seeing Gears 2,3,4 or even Halo ...
1. Having played batman for a couple hours today on my PS4, I would say it definitely belongs in the GOTY conversation. I would have said no just yesterday because WB screwed PC gamers badly but having played it, it is definitely up there with the Witcher 3 as my current GOTY candidate. Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid 5 and Halo 5 are my other games that I am getting that I can see win a few votes as well. Also don't forget about Bloodborne.
Yup, it was already confirmed by the lead engineer of the BC emulator during a Major Nelson interview that all first party games, with the exception of Kinect games, will be made BC. Also, someone with a keen eye spotted these X360 titles shown on the E3 stage when BC was announced and both Gears one and Gears 2 were there. No doubt Gears 3 will follow shortly after the Fall launnch.

It's potential had long past. You only get a chance to make a first impression and Bungie kind of blew it. Add to that, they want to charge $40 for a somewhat minor DLC?
There are franchises that continue to florist because the first game was so good like Uncharted, Halo, and GTA and people and fans are anxiously waiting for the follow up aequel. In Destiny, I never felt that..apparently many people felt the same way.
