Both can allow games to be borrowed the old fashion way now while only one allows you to play the games you already own without charge.

ME 2 was published by EA and is a totally different situation. After purchasing Bioware, they made a deal with MS to get the publishing rights to ME1 with a one year exclusive to ME2 on X360.

I see no issue with MS just responding with "double the amount sold". They also won NPD handily in November of 2014 when they sold 1.2 million XB1 vs around 750k of the PS4 in the USA (you can Check the official leaked numbers on Neogaf)...

Pretty sure the lineup of games coming from the XB1 for the remainder of 2015 and the fact BC was announced attracted a few X360 owners to jumped in and upgrade. As long as MS continue to bring quality software and innovation and continue to make Europe feel like first class citzen, then MS is the right track and this is just a small step of bigger things to come for them in Europe.

This actually reminds me that you can play old Sega arcade games in the virtual arcade in Shenmue. Wonder if Sega would allow some of their games still be used in Shenmue 3 as no doubt Yu Suzuki would want to put his babies Daytona and Virtual Fighter in them. Thar would be kind of neat.

Can't wait! Haven't been this excited about a Halo game since Halo 3. The story that 343i crafted for 4 is light year ahead of those earlier Bungie games and 5 story looks like it will be the best yet. War zone looks like it will take away a chunk of my time online.

Agreed, the BC with the added bonus of using XB1 features like broadcasting made the whole year for me as a XB1 owner.
I can't wait to play Red Dead Redemption, Halo Wars, and Lost Odyssey later on this year!
Relax everyone. BC will provide you all the horde mp you need from part 2 and 3, coming this fall, with the added bonus of playing against x360 players. Relax, take a deep breath, there are other options to play horde on XB1. :)
Gears 1 was made to provide a cross platform play between xb1 and PC in which the PC version of Gears was already released many years ago.
It never have horde mode so I don't get the complaint. It is not like they took away mp when it had them from last gen like other games are doing..MP is still there now on dedicated server and eventually cross play with PC. Add to that it has 5 additional levels that were only on PC.
