There is no real positivity about this. Metastatic once housed many positive "opinions" but as REAL user reviews start to come in the aggregate CONTINUES TO FALL.
The only people saying this game is good are the EXTREME vocal minority of Vita apologists. This fallacy needs to be dropped before it infects the industry by praising and rewarding lackluster production and design. Unless, of course all you want to play Is 60$ unfinished tunnel shooters

Not as bad as the vita...
More games are coming strait through the holidays and the list leads right up till around e3. The vita has... this month. Very little in the way of confirmed titles for the next half year.
Once those games start coming in America, the 3ds will perform like it is in Japan.. And they are coming. But Until then... >.>;
(Not that the 3ds has a bad holiday lineup, but compared to the juggernaut that is the Japanese...

It has to do with compatibility. When playing Wii games on wiiu, you run the Wii system software. The Wii CAN'T. use the gamepad and therefore games can't be played on it.
Hopefully they will work around this somehow... but the fact that they haven't found a workaround yet is disappointing. I do think wii/VC stuff should be playable on the GP.
If it wasn't a wall, it would have been a closet or an occupied bathroom...

I don't own a vita. But I do know that there are games WORTH defending on it. Games that are good. Ragnorok odessy and assassins creed are supposed to be good to great and are getting relatively meddling scores... but people decide to promote and defend this trash instead?(granted, those games gave recorded positive reviews and don't require defending but my point is comparatively they deserve the good attention far more)

No. The only constant in this case is Sony. The other devs are the variants. And many more have been having problems this gen, not just these two.
This was not an Activision game. Activision gave the license to Nihilistic, most likely through Sony.
Activision had NO active part in its development(an interview with an Activision rep lacking any knowledge whatsoever was proof of this), and we hear nothing about it until resistance is finished.

That is an interesting idea, except it requires something Sony doesn't exactly have going for it right now; Having money. They are sinking money into a new machine losing market share to all its competitors and with the wiiu releasing shortly they will begin to become eclipsed there(home market. The ps3 stands beside the 3ds in Japan as the home console and handheld console to get respectively) as well.

My point is what you want is a game that will push the vita in the market. CoD Blops D is not that game, and making out to be anything more than mediocre at best is to want to promote Lazy game making at the expenses of consumers. Guess what? Keep praising it and helping it sell more than it deserves; it will then become the golden standard that all Vita games should look up to. A cheap, poorly made sloppy cash-in.

The Games are reviewed as Games, nothing more. This mystical reviewers discrepancy doesn't exist, at least not in a way that greatly affects the outcomes of the reviews in question.

The game industry really did come dangerously close to crashing at the start of this gen due to ridiculous cost increases, and in many ways still has yet to recover from this.
If costs go up even further, that will indeed spell trouble for the industry.

I think that depends on why they were "bad". A game hampered by awful design choices or bugs and glitches is more a matter of a poorly made product, while some games can have unconventional designs that are not compatible with some people that result in "low" scores.
I'm not making a comment on this game in question in this reply. Just some thought on game quality discrepancy in reviews and opinions.
