I can't believe he took apart a brand new Onza. Very informative, but a small part of me died while watching that. lol

The d pad looks 100x better. I'm not sure how to feel about the triggers, but programming one of the extra bumpers to shoot is a really great idea. I bet you would have a really quick shot in shooters that way.

I can't believe how seriously some people are taking this. It was obviously just a joke, and considering how much he likes violent shooters that break the mold, he probably loves Killzone. You guys need to calm down. lol

The video description on Youtube says he's using a Wiimote.

I don't know what it is, but the more reviews (all negative) of Mindjack I read, the more I want to try it out. I think I could put up with the clunky controls, bad voice acting, and bad storyline to try out a new take on SP/MP. I'll probably regret this, but I'm gonna check it out.

Because people have been asking for a Live-enabled Halo 1 for like 8 years. The old engine doesn't lend itself to online play well (if anyone here played H1 on XBC, then you should know what I'm talking about). The graphics are also dated, so they decided to revamp the game. It's pretty simple to figure out why it's being remade. Personally, I can't wait for it.

A game that is projected to be terrible and sell poorly isn't going to make or break the Kinect. That's like saying that the 360's future relies on the success of Viva Pinata: Party Animals. What will make or break the Kinect is the success (or lack thereof) of big games that people have high hopes for (Star Wars Kinect?).

This is really cool. I like this idea a lot more than them releasing a new game each year.

Your name is Wenis. Shouldn't you have a better sense of humor for stuff like this? lol

The game looks extremely good and performs well on all 3 platforms, and trying determine a winner based of that is really nitpicky. I would vote for the PC as the best version, followed by 360. Both these versions allow you to import your save from ME1, slightly altering the storyline and sidequests in the second one. IMO that's one of the coolest features I've seen this generation. Unfortunately, PS3 players can't use that feature until ME1 is released on it.

I agree that previews should focus on mostly positive things, since bashing an incomplete game is unfair to developers. But sometimes a game just isn't ready to release, and I'm glad IGN said something about it.

I could get down with digital distribution if the games were actually cheaper than on disk, but it's often the other way around. Releasing a game online cuts out so many middlemen/manufacturers that it really should be cheaper.

Not to mention that I could drive to a store, buy a game, and get back before that game would be 50% downloaded. And if my HDD becomes full, I have to delete a game and spend hours re-downloading it if I want to play it again. Digital is not...

Big props to IGN for actually reporting on the status of the game. Too many previews are just hypejobs written by some hack who knows the game is bad but doesn't have the conviction to say so.

Definitely. Not only is it an amazing game, but there's just no way to properly sum up the entire game to completely catch you up to speed for the second one.

In the PC/360 versions, you can import your save file from ME1 into the second one, slightly altering sidequests and little factoids in ME2. Even though this isn't possible on PS3, it's definitely worth playing for the experience and more immersion into the ME universe.

MS and Sony are both public companies meaning that are legally required to care about profits above all else. If they waste their money on something that has no chance at helping out the shareholders' profits, they might face potential lawsuits. Beneath the PR, they're both the same.

Btw this article is awful.

As a person who mostly plays 360, I have to say that Sony definitely wins this round. This is extremely cool for PS3 and PC players. Congrats for making me truly jealous, Sony :)

Hopefully this helps push more games to become cross platform.

Hooray someone finally said it. I borrowed my brother's Black Ops and decided it wasn't for me. Simple as that. I swear some people have spent more time complaining about CoD than they've ever even spent playing a game they like.

Definitely a good thing. It adds a much needed level of skill to the MP. And for the people complaining about it being unrealistic: You're fighting gigantic reptile-men who emerged from underground and want to take over the planet. It was never very realistic in the first place.

You don't necessarily need weights to get a good workout. Calisthenics, plyometrics, pilates, shadowboxing, and even yoga will all help you be fit without weights. And Kinect already offers a lot of these. It's not as good as a gym membership, but it's definitely a good workout tool, especially for those who are new to working out and don't know a lot of exercises.

If games were $40, I probably would have bought twice as many this generation. I think lots of games (especially lesser known ones) could make more money if they weren't released at $60. Take Mindjack for instance. I might pay $40 for it, but definitely not $60.

I agree. It's a shame that devs have to wade through a seemingly endless sea of hateful and fanboyish comments to find a few worthwhile points of feedback. If the community as a whole were more constructive with their criticism, devs would listen to gamers a whole lot more. IMO that's something a lot of the people on this site need to realize.
