I've been using Tritton Pros for years. They're great headsets, but the microphone piece is way too fragile. I've had it break twice so far.
"Meanwhile, both OpSony and SonyRecon have targeted those involved in the actual lawsuit against Geohot, with members of OpSony singling out the judge of the case."
Pissing off the judge is going to MAJORLY backfire. The judge isn't going to back down, and he/she sure as hell isn't going to be lenient on Geohot now. It's going to have the complete opposite effect of what they were going for lol.
My favorite element of Kinect is the hands free gaming. Say what you want, but Kinect offers something that you can't find on a PS3 or Wii.
I need torchlight because I haven't played an RPG in almost a year. I need my fix!
The actual interview starts at 5:26. Not that the part before isn't worth listening to or anything.
Ugh...I literally just bought ACB on Amazon for someone yesterday =/
Say what you want about Gears 2, but leave RFG out of this! :) I loved RFG's multiplayer.
The first one was a lot of fun, and very underrated. I saw it at Gamestop a few weeks ago for $4.
An Archer game voiced by H Jon Benjamin would be too perfect. I always thought a Dexter game would suck, but apparently the one for the iPhone isn't that bad.
I'm such a sucker for the tower defense genre. Looks like I'll be picking up yet another game in 2011.
I don't think me meant anytime soon. The "new generation" of Kinect would probably come out (if ever) sometime during the "next generation" of consoles.
It really is. CoD devs really need to start balance testing their MP a LOT more before release.
No love for the Zerg? =(
Good list, but I think a few of these genres have started to make a comeback with the rise of XBLA, PSN, and indie games.
Thanks for catching that, I just updated the article. Have a bubble =)
-Online MP: yes
-Better Graphics : yes
-An Improved HUD: maybe, but it's not really needed
-Battle Rifle: definitely not, it wouldn't be Halo 1 with a BR
-Theatre: that would be awesome, but not needed
I know piracy doesn't automatically equal lost sales, that's why I estimated they lost out on a few hundred thousand potential sales instead of 1.2 million. That might be a little high of an estimate, but there's undeniably at least a small group of pirates who would have paid for the game if they couldn't get it for free. Even a loss of just 1k sales equates to somebody's salary.
And if Alan Wake didn't break even, then it's even worse that it g...
"Piracy is not killing anything, never has, never will. Alan Wake sold less than 800k units but was pirated more than 1.2 million times but Alan Wake 2 is in the works."
Sorry but if the game was pirated more than it was actually purchased, then it's a big problem. Many people didn't think there was even going to be an Alan Wake 2 because the first one wasn't a major success. If the game wasn't pirated, then it would have sold at least a few hundre...
It works, I just got my code. Thanks for the heads up!
For anyone still confused by the video: There is a problem with a lot of 1st party 360 controllers which makes it so the thumbsticks don't turn as quickly in one direction as all the other directions (it's called "slowturn"). It's extremely annoying to have this problem in shooters.
The Onza has a feature which allows you to crank up the sensitivity of the thumbsticks on the controller itself, which makes it practically impossible for it to have slowtur...
