Any word on how important the 'extra chapter' is? It's not a pre-order bonus in Australia and costs a lot extra.
Yep. Mad Max is $69 in Australia from Big W. For comparison MGSV is $85, Until Dawn is $75. RRP for all these games is ~$100.
I am in a similar boat. Definitely picking up Until Dawn day 1 and very interested in MGSV and Mad Max. Will have to see how in debt I feel like going on the day.
I am also looking forward to Soma. Reminds me a bit of Alien Isolation and BioShock.
Also, Fight Club rocks ;)
Not that it matters but...
Metacritic: 52 reviews, 41 are positive, 10 mixed, 1 negative. Seems like pretty positive reviews to me.
Have you played the walking dead or the wolf among us? Same sort of thing really. I love this type of game personally.
Sounds great. Have been looking forward to this for a long time. Hopefully it becomes a series. Right kind of game for it.
It actually is. Tells you everything you need to know about the game, is comprehensive, but doesn't spoil anything. Wish more reviews were of this quality.
Can't wait to play it and always happy to support new ip. Day 1 for me.
Now here is a man with his priorities straight ;)
Ha, ha.
Killer is in the house.
Option 1: Run out the front door to car, drive away.
Option 2: Run upstairs and hide under the bed.
Option 2 FTW!
Sounds like you would make a good Sony executive.
Imagine if MS paid up to lock down Kojima. Would cause some outrage but would be a smart move I think?
He's Japanese, they seem to generally age pretty well. I had students in Japan who I thought were in their 20's then found out they were 40ish.
Yeah, IGN gave one of the lower scores. Mostly getting 8+ and even a bunch of 9's.
Could not agree more. People need to support new ip as a priority or all we will get in terms of AAA games is sequels and big franchises like COD and AC.
Let's hope it gets sales to go with it. I'm picking it up day one and can't wait to play it as it's my type of game. I also like to support new IPs rather than the steady stream of sequels.
Yes. I have said it so many times. Bring back Tenchu.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 would also be nice.
Also Timesplitters.
Cool. Looks like Alien Isolation meets BioShock in terms of atmosphere.
Big agree to Bloodborne at 1 and Witcher at 2. Both awesome games.
Just FYI it's chock-full of it ;)
Nice review. One of my most anticipated games this year. Wish I could take time off to play it but will just have to have some low productivity days at work this week due to sleep deprivation I guess.
