I'm excited to play it! Project Soul, I'll be patient even if things aren't perfect at launch. I'll be able to hang on for a while after launch if there are bugs/issues you need to address.

I didn't have lag issues with Brink. I still didn't enjoy playing it all that much. I really dug the background story, but I think I would have enjoyed more of a Deus Ex style of game - not a team based FPS where the parkour movements ended up being me watching the backs of my hands grab things.
I'm hoping for more atmospheric tension and fear of the unknown type of scary and less "BOO!" type of scary. Things jumping out of a vent is scary for a second, but a fear of the unknown keeps the tension and emotion up all game long.
Looks like the main reasons for the 7.0 were sub-par tutorials and lack of humor. Apparently the reviewer wanted more interactive and faster tutorials, but also more information about the game systems.
As for the lack of humor, I'm not sure I agree with that one. Just looking at the first 3 chapters of each Disgaea game, D4 seems to be about on par, if not funnier, than most of the previous entries in the series.

Is this comfortable for longer gaming sessions? I was wondering if it will still be comfortable after about 2 hours of gaming and/or a movie? Most headsets i've tried on PC last me about an hour before I want to take them off.
If these are comfortable after 2 hours, it'll be an instant sale.

Really, it was just my opinion that it was as good on PS3 as PC.
Why?
1) I prefer the PS3 controller to m/kb.
2)I also don't really notice the difference in graphical quality, at least for Portal 2. Graphics are nice, but not terribly important to the P2 experience. Games like Rage and Skyrim on the other hand...
3) I'm not interested in a map editor really. I played through SP and MP parts and that's about ...
I disagree about all Valve games being better on the PC. Portal 2 was just as good on PS3 as PC.
Of course the RTS genre is better on PC, due to more RAM, and a superior control scheme (mouse/keyboard). I'm just not fast enough with a gamepad, and I'm not interested enough to buy bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the PS3.

I wish the NHL package offered in-market games from their PS3 app. The lack of in-market NHL games is the reason I still have cable TV.
I'm not sure about all team games, but most cable companies have a NFL package or some kind of dedicated NFL channel(s). Seems like most people could get away cheaper by using any other service to get the games and it'll likely only appeal to folks who have no other good option.
The best news in that release is that you'll have branching choices for boards. So if they slip in another board on the same maddeningly tough level of "Graveyard-last checkpoint", you might be able to just choose another path to complete the game. Whew. I never want to see that level again!
In the event of a zombie apocalypse, I'll be heading for the ranged weapons and trying to avoid getting into melee with infected individuals. Don't run up to something trying to bite you, stay back and use guns.
That's just the way it was in the arcades. If you were too good and had a long win streak, people would quit putting up quarters and just watch you finish the game against the AI. Once you had beat the game or had the AI beat you down with insane cheese, you were off the machine and other people would jump on.

You can use a hacked turret to help you beat boss #3. Make sure to carry it out of the elevator though. Don't leave it in the elevator for the pre-fight cutscene, or it will disappear. Mines apparently work very well to disrupt his cloak, and the turret will then open fire when he de-cloaks.
I don't mind the ranked issues right now mainly because I'm still learning the game and not quite prepared for ranked play just yet. By the time a patch arrives I'll have had time to skill up a bit.

In my local arcade on MK2 people would just quit putting up quarters if you were too good. They'd just watch you lose to Shao Khan to get you off the machine.
Not really a boss, but the last checkpoint in level 7 (Graveyard) in Dead Nation is brutally difficult. It's cheap hiding 3 Mouths inside of mausoleums when you can only carry 2 sticks of dynamite to blast them open.
