I agree with you. The PSP is going to have to change in fundamental ways and get lots of software to "make it" as a platform in the future. I lok at this article as a plus for me personally, since I already bought a PSP (two of them, really) and would like some good games to go on it.
Yes, the PSN has made it a handheld to actually play games on again, instead of a hard-to-load movie player.
