It just seems a little silly to respond to all this negativity, but it just floors me when you can't take the time to use basic grammar and spelling, but criticize the article as "dumb." Good lord, man, WHY is it dumb? What do you disagree with? The article is one guy's opinion of a technology that he owns. He's ALLOWED to think that way. He can't stop you from enjoying all the Blu Ray goodness you can handle! I thought it was a good article.

What was the best thing about it?
Ditto!
I can't wait to check this one out. I heard some anti-hype comments when it first came out, but with lowered expectations, this might be worth a look!
I love scifi movies and games. I hope this one is worth the hype!
Seems like this article is just one guys opinion. You can agree or disagree, but it's not about who's wrong or right. More about how the average consumer might think of the latest greatest gadgetry, like Blue Ray.
@danja - It's not saying Blu Ray is failing. More that it's too pricey to get into at this point in time, for this one writer.
@lethaltoxin - it's not a review, from my reading.
Sacred 2 - Good RPG or Good Console game? Can it be both?
I hope this doesn't turn into another "all flash, no flesh" kind of games. Style over substance and all. :(
Why is it spam?
I think this is awesome. Wii FTW!
Wii got ours at Target about 2 months ago in anticipation of a shortage again this year. Glad to know people will be able to get these babies!
Miss Informed? Is she not married, yet? ;)
It's all about the quality. Many iPhone games/apps are throwaways. These games are the ones you buy and keep and keep playing. Thoughts?
These are all great games. What are some of YOUR favorite iPhone games?
I think ngmoco is the developer to watch for iPhone. Can't wait to check out Rolando.
The graphics look a little Spore:Origins to me. Anyone else see that? Cool review!
Totally love Final Fantasy Crisis Core. Just got it via GameFly, and really dig it.
I really think that if Apple continues to give advertising and developer love, this will be the handheld platform of choice. for MOST people. I probably wouldn't buy my kid an iphone. MAYBE an iTouch, but that's pushing it. DS is cheaper and more durable, IMO.
I'm torn on the tilty controls. At LEAST give me some touch controls to replace the tilty ones. I'm not totally sold on tilty controls. Usually kind of wonky, and if you have to tilt out of your plane of vision, it's hard to figure out what's happening on the screen.
Good points, all. I like your vision of the future, but don't share your optimism that corporations will allow ANYTHING to be downloaded for a fraction of the current cost. I'm pretty sure they'll find some way to charge equivalent prices to the physical copies now. Just look at e-books. WAY overpriced for the lack of production overhead.
