Is it possible for a developer to make a congregated launcher? Something similar to banking apps that pull in all of your savings, checking, debts, and stocks? I think if that is possible, having the icons run in the background… could be where the money is at.
I know chromecast allows some of the apps to display the videos on the main page… yet it still opens the app hmmm
Psychonauts was very creative, but had some frustrating elements. I refuse to play 2 until I finish the first, which has been pushed aside for other games… the level with the crazy townsfolk and Godzilla are amazing, but the small things are holding the original back for me. (8/10 thus far, collecting those trinkets suck since they move in a 2d linear fashion)

Nintendo has the ability to turn non-gamers into gamers. The only game that has this ability in Microsoft’s arsenal is Minecraft.
God of War will consume the video game media for a couple of months. Delaying Hogwarts allows it to get some free media and publicity. WoM really helped Elden Ring soar in terms of sales.
That’s the key… where Gamepass is available. They are putting a stranglehold on Sony to allow a Gamepass app on their device. It’s going to happen within the next 3 years.
It’s big for me, I can sell my Series S and play Elden Ring off my shotty computer :) Elden Ring is the only game holding me back.

^ Which games made it like PUBG?Massive map with a bunch of players needing to find weapons? If it wasn’t, it sure popularized the genre.
^ My assumption would be that Xbox is putting a mix of chips with the Series S and the Series X. No one wants a Series S anymore because they are plentiful. Since Sony just makes a base model with or without a S drive, the numbers are higher.
IMO - It’s Sony’s two consoles vs Microsoft’s one model.

In my opinion, Call of Duty is a competitive online shooter. Both Fortnite and PUBG surpassed Call of Duty in revenue. PUBG premise was extremely fresh and new. Fortnite took that concept, turned it into a kids/adults metaverse like game and ran with it.
It’s good in some areas…
Good:
Fortnite that added another mode that did not ruin the original game. The battle loads offered a lot for a little.
Bad:
Fall Guys where people purchased for $20, but they changed the model and made everything pay to get.
Microsoft knows this is going to happen. It’s no different from how companies like Netflix, DoorDash (abit DD is a crummy company), and others spend to pull in market share. They are investing heavily in Gamepass, which I am assuming is at a loss right now. They are sacrificing todays money for tomorrows growth.
The only company that gets more video views per minute is YouTube. Netflix is fine. Once Squid Games 2 releases, they’ll get those subscribers back.
I mean, the deal is alright… Unfortunately for me the Serious S doesn’t have a disk drive and unfortunately for Gamestop a lot of those games are on or have been on Gamepass/PSNow.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Avengers was a pile of **** (not my words, but the bad word of mouth got me). I wasn’t going to invest into another game like Avengers. Unfortunately, SE ruined the reputation of their marvel products
