The game overall is better and it’s 3 generations later, it should be. For it’s time the original God of War was amazing. Let’s not forget, one of the best told and creative stories of all time. The game starts at the end of Kratos life/story and goes through the motions of backtracking. Every detail of Kratos explained such as the color of his skin, the blades, his tattoos, and his journey that unfolds piece by piece. Not to mention the creative graphics during the CGI. Beautiful.
What made me enjoy Killzone 1 & 2 was the enemy. They invaded earth in the first. We fought back and took it to them. Hellghast has a Nazi mentality to them and it was alluring to fight a new but familiar foe.
Who would spend $200-$300 on PS4s (used price mind you) instead of paying $400 for a PS5? PS4s were dead once the PS5 arrived
This figure will only drop as GoW is given as Christmas presents to people who wanted Call of Duty. Then drop even more when it hits free play, ps+, or PSNow.

To be fair, any Nintendo First Party Switch game sells incredibly well. Pokémon is the biggest IP in gaming and up there with Star Wars and Harry Potter. I stopped playing when they started introducing decorating pokemon.

Announcing games early is not just for you. It gives developers a date that they need to get something done. Does work ever give you a deadline that seems possible, but very difficult? That’s because people will hold off finishing until the last minute if there were no deadlines. ;)
Imo, best generation Sony had for exclusives. Only downside was all 3rd party went to all consoles
