I agree! One of the highest Metacretic games of all time came out this year. Elden Ring has sold more copies in one month than any EA game will this year (13+ million copies). Zero Microtransactions and will win hundreds of Game Of The Years. My guess is that God of War will do the same with zero Microtransactions.

Well, GTA Online wouldn’t be my choice for 1000 hours. I actually can’t think of a game that would entertain me for 1000. 75 so far into Elden Ring… might do new game+ once I get there, but that’s it. Pokémon Yellow had me at 350hrs when I was 7? So, I don’t think that will be beaten
This game is massive. I figured I was halfway through the game… 30hrs later and I might be now. This game is incredibly large and haven’t put this many hours into a game since Pokemon Yellow… had to catch them all.
It’s not just filler either, they continue to expand the game, the lore, the enemies, and new abilities. Just hit the group that kills tarnished and I am floored with this game. As a God of War fan, Ragnarok has an uphill battle for GotY.
Right, but it’s a reward system why we stay. The system was fine for me because I got the game when it was $20… but now it’s free-to-play it ruined my game
Nintendo hit all strides when selling the Switch. Generally, Nintendo would have revealed a new console at this point. With the popularity of the switch and chip shortage… they haven’t even hit a price decrease yet. This console will be around for the next 2 years.
If it were to release this year, it would be my number 3 anticipated behind Elden Ring and God of War. This game looks great!
Out of curiousity, why don’t you think people accept this as a remake the way they do for movies?
I ask because upgraded graphics and picture in a movie would be considered a remaster or re-release. A remake in movies is taking parts of the film and making it similar, but different.
IMO - Demon Souls PS5 was a remaster when looking at traditional remake/remaster ways.
The games are getting better… but once going free to play, definitely broke a lot of mechanics. Still a great party game with friends!

While true, the prop isn’t worried about competition rather total revenue. Activision itself was the biggest third party developer once purchasing Blizzard. They have a lot of companies that make big bucks.

Not at all. My Chevy Bolt Premium was suppose to have supercruise (self driving). It was removed because of the chip shortage. This is happening across all different industries. I have a shotty Corolla 2007. It’ll get me around with decent mileage… I don’t need to pay high-dollar for something that has less quality.
