The article has some good points. MS over promising and under delivering has been a problem. They need to have a better manager of their games or at least higher more people to oversee and communicate with marketing.

I’m hoping they can turn it around but we keep on waiting for that day and it’s been a long time coming.

Not only that they just keep coming up non stop

Off topic, on my iPhone I have a video advertisement that keeps coming up every ten seconds. It hogs the screen and is very distracting. Anyone having the same issues?

Get a life troll. This article has nothing to do with your amazingly dumb comment. Grow up.

So a lot of people have commented on Sony receiving an inferior version of the game. It seems that most people on here haven’t read or heard of the remedies/concessions MS bound itself to.
The biggest of which is an independent oversight committee that is paid for by MS and its members chosen by the government agencies. Their job will involve ensuring parity on quality and content. They will have the power to stop the game releasing on all platforms if the standards are not met.

Crazy comments across the board. I see this acquisition going through. How much it affects the industry and Sony time will tell.

Personally, I think Sony will be just fine, their console is selling like hotcakes. I also see MS fulfilling their obligations to Sony and the others. Considering that an independent panel will have over site on the fulfillment of the deal. I don’t see Sony’s fear materializing.

I enjoyed the game and it has different choices so you can replay it. I was excited at the time it came out because of it’s newer concept on story telling. Honestly, it was an enjoyable experience.

Which would only benefit other countries like China.

Yeah it’s probably the people that are going to profit off of this deal.

I agree with going after anti competitive practices. Which all countries on friendly trading terms have a right to voice. But they need to provide actual instances of violations per the agreements in place. If they have that proof then fine, but if they don’t then it’s just grandstanding.

First of all, these companies have enough money and power to compete against one another for any market in the world, including Japan. If PlayStation enjoys some extra advantages in Japan over MS, then the US government needs to provide that proof. Politicians who probably don’t know alot about the gaming business (FTC, cough) shouldn’t be pressuring other governments without verifiable proof, anything else is just rhetoric.

Can’t wait for this one. From the small bit we’ve seen, looks like it will be an improvement. Just hope they get rid of using joycons for puzzles.

Looks interesting, love the atmosphere of the game.

Interesting, I never thought about that. Curious, anyone on here experience the same issues?

I never use the word impossible. The trends alway surprise me as time marches forward.

I remember in an old EGM Magazine (RIP) that they were talking about if games would ever go past 1 gig in data. They couldn’t come up with a scenario that would support that idea. But alas, by todays standards it laughable. My point? Three billion seems like a lot and impossible but baring any major war or pandemic. Will happen eventually and if I go by the past, much quicker than anyone ...

While PC is a great option. People are glossing over the strengths of consoles over PC. Excluding, exclusivity on games, consoles are pretty much plug and play out of the box, multiplayer cheating is way way less prevalent, sitting with your family in front of your tv playing or watching content, automatic updates, not having to fiddle with games for them to work.

Some try and add up the costs but a console punch way above their weight and you’ll spend much more on an equiv...

The question I always had about Deep Down, was it a game or a tech demo? But if the game exists then it will be very exciting if they do end up announcing something on it.

Looking forward to trying out MLB the Show. I always hear good thing about it.

If the game is playable and enjoyable then 30 frames is fine. Not every developer has the resources to take the extra steps required.
