Looking forward to this. The bonus of playing with your friends, by the looks of it will be mindless fun.
Nice
So you’re comparing your brother to a guy who has been making games since 1989. Started his own company and has made Crash Bandicoot games, Starwars Lego games just to name a few. That you and your brother that just happen to do some coding and because I’m sure you’ve made games for the PS3, can confidently state that.
Let’s see anonymous internet person vs. a well known game maker/producer who owns his own game company. Hmmmmmm. Who should I believe???
If you read the whole article then you would know the developer who made that statement, after the promotion backed off from that statement.
Plus it’s not what I think, it’s what the article says. Big difference
I was responding to @darkrider and the title. It’s limiting when you’re talking about a company, when this is so indicative of the whole tech industry. Regardless of the fine, this is something everyone should be pressuring their politicians on regardless of age.
But I’m happy this at least highlights a major problem
First, I’m glad they were called out on this and fined.
But anyone trying to say this is just a Microsoft issue, are only kidding themselves.
Amazon ( who also was fined)
Meta
Google
TikTok
And a host of other companies, honestly, it’s sad the the governments of the world haven’t done more.
No the line clearly states it’s would be possible. He said, “possibly with some trade offs” key word, “Possibly” which is the opposite of definitive. You would have to actually develop the game for the ps3 to see if any or what kind of trade offs would be needed.
Stated by the guy who oversaw its creation during its launch.
“Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a game that utilizes dimensions and dimensional rifts, and that would not have been possible without the solid state drive of the PlayStation 5.”
If you read the article you would have read this.
“Running simultaneous areas was possible on the PlayStation 3 hardware, as we see from Burton, and it didn't need extra loading areas. The des...
Definitely will impact that and I suspect this is just the beginning.
Well it’s definitely not ready for primetime yet. The most important part isn’t game developers but the internet providers. Even though they’re constantly updating their networks. There are too many dead spots or reduced speeds areas. Single players games seem to work okay depending where you’re located , but multiplayer, especially games like Call of Duty. Forget it.
I really loved the first one, the whole vibe of the game just sucks you in. By the looks of it, this is going to be a treat.
I’m really looking forward to playing this.
Well to be fair to Sony, Meta only has to focus on one device. So it should be a better show for VR.
But I feel the title’s misleading, it was by no means putting Sony to shame.
@BehindTheRows
You’re the one who implied the competition by your remark.
“While others count success with how well a showcase does”
So back at you, why did you bring up other consoles in an article that had nothing to do with them?
That’s why I brought up the Switch.
Because a cheeky comment deserves a cheeky response.
Yeah it’s called the switch
My question would be? If games are taking longer to make wouldn’t this complicate it even more, hence longer development times.
I’m really hoping for Fable to be shown. Updates on all the games on the list. Sprinkle in some legit surprises. I’ll be happy.
Well considering I was very much alive in the 90s. I also lived in an expensive state. It still wasn’t as bad as it is today.
Though there were some games that hit that price range. It was a few, not the majority of games. Plus, with inflation pushing up the costs of everything and wages not keeping pace. It’s definitely, not comparable.
Yeah but back then it wasn’t associated with any political movements. It was just some cool colors that no one thought twice about.
