Yeah it's nothing to snuff at, but I wonder if it will keep up?
well i'm not buying a ps4 yet. I'll wait to they announce the new console. It sucks to wait, but If I wait then the price of the original may drop or I could opt for the newer console. So it makes sense to hold off on both PlayStation/Xbox until you know what Is coming out and how it effects prices.
Well it does sound and play well, but details are missing. Hopefully they will fix these before releasing.
It would be interesting to see what they came up with, but I would hope they would do it on VR. Now that could be awesome as long as it's done well. I also would agree that every superman game ever attempted suck. That's why I think a fresh start on VR would be the way to go with him.
If true I speculate that Sony would be holding off to see if MS tips their hand first.
Well as they say in sports always play to your strengths and that is what I see MS doing. I'll stick with consoles because its just easier. Plus I'm happy enough with the graphics they provide. Just because games are going to be available on both pc and xbox, doesn't mean everyone is going to jump ship and go build a pc. Most people don't want to deal with that. Even in the pc community there is a huge number of players that bought pre-built pc from the likes of Alienware and ...
Unless you want both. One for the living room the other for the computer desk. You could be gaming with your kids between both machines and still get work done. Kind of a win, win, situation.
I hear what your saying and agree with a lot of it. But I find a lot of endings in games to be repetitious and not that to surprising. Like pretty much all AAA games have the big boss battle at the end (no surprise there) and it really comes down to how you kill the boss. I find that very few things will surprise you and if a game developer ended a game like Halo2 people will just freak out and just complain. As for things being ruined because to much info is available, that's been going ...
nice job ladies, really nailed it!
Yeah but what do they do with the Sram that is dedicated to the gpu. If they want backwards compatibility, or at least make it easier for to do so, they would need to keep that and expand it. It'll be interesting to see what choices they make.
I'm sure in the U.S. Gamestop will come out with a promotion to trade in your old console and get a specified store credit to apply to the new consoles. That said, I'll keep my old ones and use them on other tvs for movies, netflicks, general entertainment, and some games.
Well everyone is entitled to his or her opinion on the subject, but as the consoles (yes ps4, xbox1) are now just a full on pc. It's really comes down to either a turn key system like the consoles, a boutique vendor, or build one yourself. I personally enjoy the console environment and as long as they keep updating the machines, I'm fine with that. If rumors are true on the more powerful Xbox and the price is right, then I'll pick one up. It won't surprise me if mouse and key...
The maturity really shows in the comment section. It's just one review people and to say that Uncharted is a perfect game is unrealistic. Some of his points have some merits to it. A.I. in all games pretty much has been the same and hasn't moved forward much on consoles. Uncharted A.I. is okay but doesn't break any new ground either. To be fair the same can be said of most games. The problem I see, isn't Naughty Dog but the weak cpu they put in consoles. It greatly effects w...
I have to agree with you on that. It seems weird that on both consoles there are a ton of games (thanks to indies) but not a lot of "knock it out of the ballpark" type of titles. I've been playing console game since the beginning but it seems that the variety of big titles has dropped. Even the big titles that do come out are just evolutionary, pretty much the same rinse, dry, and repeat with better graphics. I'm looking forward to this E3, hoping that new "AAA" IP...
I agree its a AMD chip, but these guys are always retooling. Retooling never fully stops and they have some fabs on older processes and some going to the new thing. As well as the PS4 has been selling, it still doesn't make total sense. Whatever the case, Sony is doing what makes sense for them and a supplier wouldn't risk putting a strain on the relationship to force them into something that they don't want. More likely Sony saw some kind of opportunity and AMD was able to prov...
I'm not saying your absolutely wrong and could be the reason. But from what I've seen in the past, Sony has just spun off the chip to a cheaper supplier. They did that with the cell chip and no reason they can't do it now and save even more money. I really believe that with new tech coming in form of disc, VR, and with possible more powerful hardware from the competition they decided to upgrade. But considering that we are all just speculating, any one of the reasons including thi...
I agree, Sony does do more than just games.
I agree that games can be hard to standardize, but the same can be said for movies, books, and art. It's all about opinions in the end, that's why you take a sample of multiple reviews and get a general consensus from them. What I don't like is how people behave when a review comes out they don't agree with and start stupid petitions. All because the average score will fall, how dumb.
That has statement you made has nothing to do with a petition. Yes Sony fans were not the first to ever petition for something but they did start one for Uncharted and that opens the door for more idiocy towards other reviews that people don't like.
Looks interesting
