Couldn't agree more with you. The slim pre-orders are doing well on Amazon and the last I checked it was ranked third. So the demand is there. I think this strategy will end up working well for them.
Funny how the console is number 3 on Amazon. I guess you don't have to worry, its momentum is doing just fine.
Does save on having to keep a bunch of old systems around. In the case of the PS2, an older tv is needed as well. I do hope that Sony might rectify this with the Neo.
I see a lot of tit for tat arguments on exclusives and it's really meaningless when the articles was about backwards compatibility. It's an awesome feature and I'm happy i can play some old games i never had the chance to play on the 360. I just go to Gamestop and pick them up on the cheap. Every gamer should want to play their old games, or games they never had the chance play on their newer system. Win, win for everyone!
Nice move on their part.
I tried it at my local Bestbuy without the paddles, instead used controller and it was a blast to play. They had 5 different demos and I chose a space sim that was really fun to play. It was immersive experience and I didn't get nauseas at all. Should sell well.
I was able to try the PSVR at Bestbuy. A Sony rep had shown up and roped off a small area and you could line up to try it. Their were like five diffrent demos and i chose a space shooter. The experience was awesome and as the fighters zoomed past you, I was able to look behind to see where they where headed. I can say it was a great demo and as long as they have some good content like that, it'll be worth the money. The resolution was very good, I have tried Oculus and the Sony holds up w...
Good write up.
How is this trash even on here. Absolutely grabbing at straws just get clicks. If you read any articles of people that have actually seen it, they say it's drastically smaller. This garbage of a article needs to be dumped.
Well this should come as no surprise.
Can't agree more. It's nice in one sense, but it really does cut down on the innovation, especially in AAA games. I also kind of blame the exsisting big franchises that hog a lot of the lime light and wallets. Look at EA with the Starwars universe, taking studios off games they are working on just to milk the cow. Or taking Black Tusk off a completely new game, changing their name and have them do Gears. Nothing against Gears but my point is theirs not enough diversity or new games, j...
I'll get both. I don't have a PS4 yet and was going to pickup one up when Uncharted launched. But then all the rumors on the Neo started and I decided to hold off till all the dust settles. I'm hoping Sony will announce it soon and give a launch date. Can't wait to play Uncharted in 4k, even if it's upscaled.
Not much said, other than he was surprised by the announcement. It sounds like Sony thought they were going to wait till next E3. Well it's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. Either way I'm going to get both consoles and upgrade my T.V. to 4k with hdr.
The only problem I have with them is they are console specific. Both version will play with PC, but from what I read It doesn't sound like they could be used with the opposing consoles. At least that's the impression I received.
It's really going to come down to games. MS needs to show games that make it a must have. Sony right now has a lot of momentum with good exclusives and to counter that MS is going to a big "WOW" moment to kick start it.
I wonder if they will use their own proprietary disks?
I'm sure it will be fun to play but I really miss the Gamecube ones. Those were just so engrossing and engaging in so many ways.
looks like fun.
cool
Bloodlust!!! and I love it.
