Great game and many fond memories. My only wish was that their was more exploration in the Oblivion realm.
Even if they own it. Just possible that people may think that it's worthwhile game for others to enjoy. Whatever it is.

The article title is a little miss-leading, makes it sound as though the combine total of MS and Nintendo was beat by Sony. I think Sony has done very well, but I was surprised to see that only a billion dollars separated them from MS...……….. Nintendo is doing really well considering that they have been on the market the least time. It's good to see them all doing well and staying healthy.

Of course they're going to do this. I won't be surprised at all when they announce it. They have a huge successful library on the PS4 and would only hurt themselves by not allowing the fan base to use their games on the PS5.

I believe the real push MS is going for is to play on any device. The console business is important but especially in Japan the mobile device is King. That's just one of the reason Nintendo is outselling Sony on home turf. It's the portability of the console and the novelty of playing it on your TV. Most Japanese take the trains and Mobile sells...... MS wants their games on as many devices as possible, not just their ecosystem.......The real Prize is Xbox as a service......who knows ...
I think your only partially correct. When it comes to a physical console they will have an uphill battle. But as a service that can play on any device, including the all important smart phone. They have huge potential to gain alot of customers that in turn could lead to more console sales. I'm hoping Raytracing could be in the works. That's said, I really hope physics and A.I. improve. I love graphics like everyone else, but better physics and smarter A.I. that you could interact with would be true next gen to me. Very excited about the PS5......Also it will have backwards compatibility.......AMD architecture......no brainier.

Your saying Xbox360 was ahead only because they launched a year earlier? Why is it people point to one thing as though the 360 had no problems that hurt it's sales? I agree Sony has always been in the pole position and has delivered. What has hurt MS was the game section and all the bad press. That said, to say Xbox can't compete with Playstation is very short sighted. Last gen They did fine against Sony, who was suppose to blow xbox out of the water...didn't happen. Xbox also had to overcome bad press...."red ring of death" and still led most of that gen. To say that they won't learn from their mistakes as Sony has would be foolish...
You right to say it wasn't the first and what Gears brought to the table was perfection. They perfected the camera and not getting stuck on wall or corners. Before that it was always a mixed bag and cameras sometimes would get confused. Both games are masterpieces from that generation.
So the fact that Sony launched the ps3 at a huge price point and didn't have a lot of games at the start had nothing to do with it? Xbox 360 launched and was successful because it innovated and brought new ideas to the console market. Fanboys always want to point to the one year head start. When it was so much more than that.
