This game keeps on sounding better and better.......lets hope the gameplay is tough but rewarding.
Well if you base your assumptions on just one review of the experience then you don't have the full picture. From what I've read from different sites, its works but not flawless yet. Even phil said it' not for everyone and still needs work...but its the early day for this type of tech.
Considering that they are the only ones currently doing backwards compatible. Kind of makes it a foregon conclusion
Sony expensive PS3 price tag, no gamer score, no arcade, showed fake prerendered video and pass it off as game play...… which they did again on the PS4 reveal, Deep Down anyone (aka Vaporware). Doesn't come to mind? Also, you don't factor in that MS focused shifted because of Don Matrick and started focusing on tv crap instead of games...…...So its not so black and white as you proposed above. Also factor this in.....At the beginning of that Gen Sony was bragging they were going to c...
Of course you leave out the fact that 360 led that whole almost right up to the end. Despite rrod.....I clearly recall the beginning of the 360/ps3 gen......Sony was actually taunting MS saying how they were going to crush them.......ooooppppsss.
Finally a little common Sense......it's always been about the software..... people on hear act as though he didn't show any games......but fanboy logic is always blind.
Because it's n4g........on here it's their national pasttime......I agree that the show could of been better.....But I think MS didn't want to show it's hand early to Sony......other than that they showed alot of games, just no big surprises.....other than Keanu Reeves.......Good Showing.
Does anybody read the damn articles? He mentions possibly buying studios for one paragraph and the other 10 or more paragraphs are spent talking about gamer choice and the new companies coming in....It's an interesting read and were the industry is heading....Good Article.
He didn't say wait till next year and Xbox will bring the goods. He even mentions that this conference wasn't what it needed to be. But next year with the full reveal of scarlet, if they don't bring a true A game and surprises along with it, they'll be in trouble...…..As for this E3 it may not have been what a lot of people wanted but it did have a lot of games and was varied. But I do miss the surprises, burns, and turns that Xbox use to have, especially in 360 era.
I thought it wasn't bad just not spectacular. Considering the Starwars games that EA canceled, it's a little underwhelming.
True on that, but they do have the deep pockets to do it. As long as they aren't broken in a anti trust case in the next 5
Z501......want and need are interchangeable but as for E3 it started as a "want" to reach out to retailers, make deals, game exposure to the press and became a "need"......what will be more telling for the Future of the traditional show, is if Sony skips next year.
Okay, you go with that. We'll see if they skip next year. That would be far more telling......As for twitch, non gamers and casuals who far out weigh the more dedicated or hardcore types.....don't go their. They are more likely to hear it on CNN or some other website they visit. E3 still gets the attention of the world. The only reason Sony is skipping is because their in a dominant position. If they weren't or things were much tighter they would be there. But they have their fanb...
I like to buy one again but don't have an old tv to play it on.....Oh, well.
Nice article....hoping MS brings the thunder.
I enjoyed it. Could it have been better...sure. but it was still fun to play.
Looks sweet. Hopefully the force will be strong with this one.
E3 is still important, especially to getting the message out to the mainstream media. Something twitch can't do.
Loved my Gamecube...many nights playing Metroid Prime...Great game.
Glad to hear they are possibly getting rid of or at least waiting on launching the less powerful console. Mixed message and two different skus at the same time would confuse people. Not to mention the fact that streaming really isn't up to snuff yet.....If this is true, looks like they've learned from the xbox1 launch and will focus on whats most important.....kiss ass games.
