Why so many remasters??? Because they don’t have anything new to show. So they try to cover that fact up with old games with shiny new paint jobs…… this generation has been sad and cheap money grabs all the way around.
They’ll launch in another decade or two. Once they stop laughing their way to the bank.
Sony is the king of paying for exclusives. Anytime Xbox does it Sony fans go berserk. But when the shoes on the other foot they flop like a fish out of water.
Microsoft are just batting a hundred. Can they screw up anymore? Wait, don’t answer that.

Hopefully this isn’t the next wave of games coming. The vultures and activists who hover around games are the ones that are ruining it. What am I saying? It’s already been ruined by all these remakes, gas, micro transactions and the like.

That all nice, but what about the games? You have a bunch of old games. So unless you really want to play those older games where’s the incentive?
I’m sure there’s more games coming but does it justify the buy? That’s been the problem with gaming since the beginning, prettier graphics and faster game play with only incremental advances in physics and A.I.. I’ll wait for the next one with A.I. built in, because while pretty graphics are nice, they aren’t revolutionary.
Nothing wrong with having an opinion or pointing things out. But just as Xbox has taken it on the chin (self inflicted as well) PS doesn’t get a pass. People were expecting something akin to the PS4 pro pricing spread. I
Honestly, this whole generation on both sides of the coin has sucked compared to previous generations.
Why are you bringing up Xbox? 700 dollars is a lot of money for people. No new games just old titles which a lot of fans have played.
For the record plenty of people have criticized the Xbox. Especially on N4G. So I’m not sure what you’re alluding to.
What this article fails to mention, that the cost of living was much less than it is today. People could afford more back then. Not only that prices would drop, not rise like today. This is the first time in console history that the price has actually gone up over time. But as long as people turn a blind eye and buy it, along with no competition……well you get what they decide to give you.
So are a lot of people going to buy this? Theirs always a lot of hype among the hardcore when these things launch. Just like the PlayStation VR…..I think this will sell well but not make a huge surge. Unless it brings in more than just smoother graphics and musical fidelity

I’m really hoping it will be. I’m also hoping that means physical games bc as well.
I’ve heard that same sentiment every time they gear up to launch a new system. Yet they continue to defy the odds. Many said the Switch would die a quick death when it launched, where are they now? Switch 2 or whatever they launch will be huge.
I want a full 3d game on the Switch 2. Here’s hoping that it’s a launch title.
The developer in the article stated the reason for the delay. I guess some on here are so entrenched in their thinking they can’t except the explanation up front.
Am I supposed to trust the developer? Or a bunch of random people speculating, though they offer no proof.
Stop with the defacto BS, not every game is because of the S. Some of those same exact games are running on PC portables and they have even more constraints.
Something else is up at MS.
It’s called no competition, so they can. They raised the price of the console,, controller, games and now the pro. Not surprised in the least.
