I mean you could be right. But a lot of rumors going into this show which many didn’t turn out to be on point. Like Banjo&Kazzoie, Gears six and the Gears collection. The rumors were from reliable sources and turned out wrong.
While those rumors could pan out, they’re still just rumors and not definitive.
How do you know what type of game it’s going to be? You’re entitled to your opinions, but when you trash a game with definitive statements based on not liking the art style. That opens you to counterpoints and criticism.
I thought art style was refreshing and the characters were interesting. The game comes out in 2025. They have time to keep polishing and optimizing.
As for “business decisions” the game. Not sure what your trying imply. All games ultimate...
It really comes down to price. The new S is the same but the series X with the extra terabyte is way overpriced.
I guess they justified $599 on the fact if you bought a regular X and upgraded the memory with a Seagate or WD external drive it would be the same or slightly cheaper. But internal memory bought in bulk couldn’t have added that much cost to the box.

lol, have you’ve played it? I mean you can not like the art style and that’s okay. But to judge the whole game on the merit of just one component. Honestly makes you sound salty.
I think you miss the point, it’s not that it brings anything completely new in terms of gameplay. But the art style and the cultural undertones of a New Orleans style characters. Makes for a new IP that looks refreshingly different from anything leader out there.
Not a surprised, it’s Gears and going back to its roots is why I’m so hyped for the game. I’m hoping for a prequel trilogy. I think two years out with the launch of the next gen Xbox.
The question isn’t about games coming to PS or Switch, but which games and how many? I think for sure Activision and Bethesda games will be coming. But the likes of the newest Gears and Halo? At this point nobody but a few people at Xbox know the roadmap. It’s going to be interesting, but no matter gamers will be the winners.
Just because they are doing multiplat, that doesn’t mean all games. I wouldn’t be surprised if a majority of the games showed were delayed or not multiplat at all.
If you’re looking at the short term you are correct. But if Xbox can have multiple bangers then subscriptions should increase. Which is what they want, recurring revenue.
If they have follow up games that are bangers, then this strategy will work. But if it’s Call of Duty followed another dead period then it won’t last.

Not saying they’re not. But I would think the lack of competition and the high micro dlc sales have helped. But that doesn’t change the fact, by their own admission, console sales have slowed down.
I’m curious on how much of those sales came from the PC? Or the PS4 considering that half the user base hasn’t upgraded. That is the biggest difference between the PS4 and PS5. Multiple generations and pc.

Not sure why everyone thinks the PS5 is somehow doing Awesome. Sony has dropped the forecast for the PS5 twice in the past year and that’s with no pressure from Xbox. People can get play game on pc and that has diluted the need for a PS5. Also, with half the installed base, not even motivated to upgrade to the PS5. It’s a problem for Sony.

Anast you’re overthinking it. Peace just means what the word implies. No agendas or hidden meanings. I sometimes end with that because at the end of the day we are just sharing opinions. I realize that myself and just about everyone on here can get worked up over things. So putting a positive ending to a disagreement, argument, or statement is just my way of ending on a positive note. Wish I remembered to do it more…..peace….lol
