The Economy is going to play a factor. If by the time these consoles come out people are struggling, then this would be a good route to go for Sony.....for those that say Sony will sell no matter what don't fully appreciate that these are historic times.... I'm hoping that things will recover quickly and this will be a non issue.

I agree to a point, but they offer a cheap way to play alot of games with Gamepass.......Also, unlike the begining of this gen they bought or started new studios for this upcoming gen......they do have alot to prove, which Phil has stated in recent interviews.
This coming from a developer who's games wont really push the boundaries of what these consoles can do.....In his own words.......“Both consoles seem very powerful and way beyond the capabilities needed for anything we will be making for the foreseeable future!”. My point, he's not the best source to quantify this considering they won't be making games that will push the console. So how can he really know?..... I can buy two sports cars and they'll both drive 50 mil...

Well I don't have the time to spend reading every article. That said, when it comes to things like battery life. I always wait till peripherals are out in the wild. All companies usually will tell you the best times but gathered from ideal conditions. That's said I'll take a look for the article. Thanks for the heads-up.

I whole heatedly agree. I'm hoping they may take a page out of MS playbook and allow you to do customized colors for it. But regardless, I expect different colors.

What I meant to say ............I found it interesting. I was hoping they would have actually added more information. Like some numbers and quotes from insiders on Sony's inner workings. I know Sony has also been very successful with their point and shoot cameras as well as their sensor business...... As for PlayStation brand, through the console itself they do have a direct line to their consumer base. One of the few companies that actually do outside of Apple and handful of others.........

Unfortunate, but especially in the dark ages alot of abuse and killings happened because of the catholic church. Not only that but they kept generations illiterate. But this isn't just the catholic religion. Anywhere their is power consolidated (religion or not) you'll find abuses and those who take advantage.
