One playtester who couldn't comprehend that Nadine was able to beat up Drake doesn't represent the larger community.
The two biggest differences I noticed was 1) the lighting in GTS, especially shadow quality, is massively improved, and 2) the rear view mirror shows a heck of a lot more detail going on.
One of the first little details that struck me was near the beginning after the diving section. The water in the bottle dispenser distorted what you could see through it, just like in real life. Minor thing, but really impressed me.
XO.TV? Sounds suspiciously like a site with an agenda against what the site initials stand for
A strong reception could lead to a sequel :)
While I agree Uncharted could make a really good video game movie, I would prefer it be a mini-series instead. Condensing down the entirety of Drake's Fortune, for example, to a 2 hour movie could result in parts of the story being omitted or very short.
With the wealth of characters and their interactivity between each other, it deserves longer to have them fully fleshed out than a single movie.
I hadn't played it in weeks. Traded it in today towards Uncharted
I enjoyed Second Son and Infamous 2. The first was okay, bit rough around the edges, but the second greatly improved on it.
Titans baby!
None of those are secret. They're well known features.
Well...that's certainly an opinion.
My launch DS4 developed a squeaky right trigger and had the rubber wearing down on the left stick. Bought a replacement after Sony released an improved controller, and it's been fine ever since. Hours and hours of gaming and still no problems :)
For what they're charging, it seems way too much. If anything it should be included as standard, much like almost all other games do. imagine if Battlefield 4 had your favourite maps disappear and the only way to play them was by paying more money? Ludicrous!
Nice if true. It's the only numbered Resi game I haven't played yet
Doesn't the article kind of answer it's own headline question?
I've enforced a total Uncharted media blackout upon myself.
Think in terms of mobile phones. The Neo is an upgraded version of the Base model.
"Sony's PlayStation 4.5, on the other hand, is a nightmare for devs because they now have to make two PS4 ports of every game, meaning multi-plat will need four ports (PS4, PS4.5, Xbox One, and PC). Every PS4 game released after October needs to have two versions--a PS4 and a PS4.5 flavor that supports 4K upscaling."
Really? Seems stretching and grasping at straws there, as developing for the Base PS4 wouldn't change, and to support the additional features...
Most high street retailers will likely offer 'upgrade' deals to reduce the cost of the new console. And if that's still out of consumers reach, then the base PS4 will work perfectly with PSVR and also new titles.
With games like Uncharted 4 being as good as they are, then I would argue we don't need Neo/Scorpio.
