I'm not defending their move, but they said something around the lines of releasing the DLC in order to better test and optimise the area travel thing they have going on between the base game and DLC content (Can't find the direct quote).
It doesn't matter who started the whole thing. At the end of the day either hardware manufacturer (Sony,MS) provides the dev with additional finances to make something exclusive to their platform. They pay out to the benefit of their player base. It's not lost content the others don't get, but additional content for no extra cost to them, as it's already been paid for by Sony/MS.
Sales figures, PS+ subscriber numbers, PS4 slim, NEO, new upcoming games.
Disappointment is entirely subjective, and varies from person to person. Take No Man's Sky for example, personally speaking I've had more gameplay and enjoyment out of it than expected, and i'm still going with it. For me with a limited amount of time for gaming, it's been great. Perfect pick up and play title.
That's probably what I originally meant. Couldn't think of that word for some reason.
It's the economy, plain and simple. Everything where I live has been going up in price, everything.
I'd like it if they was able to make each game feel similar to each other so it creates a coherent experience. For example the cooldown on weapons for ME1 could be changed to match the ammo counters in 2-3. The character creation between each game could be scrapped so it flows more freely. Just some ideas how I'd change them if I was in charge of the remaster project.
I'd say the biggest reason CoD:IW is getting so much bad attention and hate is because the Legacy Edition is the only way to get ahold of CoD4 remastered. If that was available as a separate purchase, then IW would just get the standard crap from 'gamers' because it's CoD.
Not including the Nintendo NX into the mix? It may turn out to be not as powerful, but could provide excellent gameplay. Just saying.
You're not alone with that sentiment. They're so cringe worthy
I bought NMS off the PSN, and I've had more gameplay out of it than lots of other games priced similar. For me, it's been worth the price.
Shame, as this would be a great language learner for people wanting to learn Japanese. it could even be expanded upon adding new languages.
How'd this get approved? It's old news that was made abundantly clear at E3.
Don't forget those that end "and that's okay".
It's been clear from day 0 what the game is. Anyone who thought anything different must have crafted their own ideas or read speculative articles.
Not only is there zero evidence of any delay, but this part made me laugh:
"Pointing out the control scheme of RE7, where a player can move the camera without turning the head, this is actually a disturbing issue for VR players".
I think what they're getting at is while Neo was acknowledged to exist before E3, there's been no official specs or console shown. Yet. It'll likely be a PGW or TGS reveal
Since when do Sony do insurance?
It's a space exploration game, exactly as described by the dev. Not some massive story driven game. Those who hyped themselves up with expectations that the game is something different, they have themselves to blame.
I've wanted this game since it was announced, and cannot wait until it's release.
It's not that I belive them. I was mealy making a comment with regards to the headline question.
