I got simulations to, and I am as confused as you are. Can't remember the last time I played one to be honest.

I think they can kill him off if it serves the story, and I have no doubt that they can come up with another great protagonist. Just look at Joel and Ellie from the Last of Us!

ME2 was less an rpg and more of an action game, not really a refinement of the first game as much as a change of tone and feel. Less Control over attributes/gear and less deep conversation trees and more chooting/action.
Wonderboy: A Dragons Trap on Master System, that game was a blast!

A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.

Haki1112: There is a difference, we know that Capcom has been struggling financially and need to prioritize their resources, maybe for a platform that they can earn the most Money on. Nor do we know about the kind of help Sony gives with the development, or finance part of the development to make the game a reality.
I will pirate the hell out of ME4 if it turns out to be PC/XOne exclusive, lol.

Turn-based RPGs got a lot of flack from reviewers at the time, I guess developers felt that they needed to change gameplay into more realtime combat. Developers need to listen less to reviewers and more to the fans!
