To be honest, the Xbox Division has had a yearly 2 billion loss since the original Xbox. Microsoft will keep eating that loss just to stay in the game is my guess.
I'm happy for Sony though, they need this success and I think we as gamers needed Sony to be successful. This could be another PS2 era in gaming, loving it!

BiggerBoss: Yeah, it's good in the short term for Xbox players, but with Microsoft's trackrecord of creating monopoly in some PC sectors I would not look forward to a future where Microsoft simply "took the loss" at the expense of other companies like Nintendo and Sony. That would not be good for anyone but Microsoft in the end.
I think the Xbox division comes across that way b/c they invest and buy marketshare without turning a profit. Sure Microsoft can afford it, but it just looks like a desperate attempt to buy your way into the console market.
I went with the physical copy, probably not possible to get it after the kickstarter ends as the game will not see a physical release in stores. So basically it could become a collectors item, just a heads up if you care about stuff like that. Also, we need all the help we can get to see whats in the bottom of that Tower! ;)

Nintendo should make a bundle without the gamepad, if they offer a bundle with the pro controller they could cut the price and get more units in peoples homes. Maybe include a game or two...
