Still blaming the messaging.. smh
All I can say without spoiling anything is, the underpants gnome stage.. lol, this game is so good!!
"Games with Gold should look like with the constraints that are there"
I wonder what these "constraints" are that Phil is speaking of.
Games with Gold was Microsoft's answer to PS+, but I don't get why they are half assing it. I think it draws far more attention to how bad the service is lacking in comparison to it's competition than if they just offered nothing at all.
What will Xbox fans next goal post be when DirectX 12 has come and gone and their system still is outperformed by the competition?
Sure Phil, you know all the goings on in management above your head, just like any other employee knows the goings on in their bosses offices.. right?
You do realize the reason Microsoft chose the countries they did? It's because those are the countries they compete in. The remaining countries they only get a very small slice of market share, and they would be lucky if those remaining countries added another 250k to their totals. You really need to quit trying to justify your purchase of the xbox one by finding random reasons your system of choice is not selling well and just realize it is not going to be the system of choice this ge...
While 600k is a nice number, I wonder how many of those pre orders belong to people who already own the console. If Microsoft is expecting this game to move consoles, that number seems kind of low in that perspective. It'll be interesting to see how it moves on the PC and 360.
Good show this week, always like when Larry makes it on, thanks for the work guys.
I loved the NES version of Ghostbuster, wonder how it holds up now? Probably pretty badly, but that's what we did with the NES, played games no matter how good or bad they were.
Assassin's Creed 3 did day night and weather cycles pretty well. But it was odd when you would start a mission and it would instantly switch.
I'm sure it'll be fine either way, not really concerned about it personally.
It's so weird seeing Microsoft execs continually commenting on Sony business. Several of them congratulated Sony on the launch of the PS4, then reaching out to the laid off employees, and now commenting on Jacks exit. Is this humbled Microsoft, or is it some weird form of PR since they know Sony has the mind share right now? Because this is the polar opposite of Xbox 360 Microsoft.
@dantesparda: Silly Xbox fans still think Xbox live gives them a better connection even though most games they played on the 360 where the same peer to peer connections used on the PS3. But whatever makes them feel better. smh
If Titanfall doesn't move product, you can bet there will be a price drop, whether it is removing Kinect and dropping the price, or some other retooling, a price drop will happen.
And to add to that I'm not sure Titanfall can keep consoles selling until their next major AAA title which appears to be sometime in September/October? Seems like tough times ahead for Microsoft's Xbox One.
I'm an Xbox One owner and I wont be buying it. Not a fan of the competitive fps genre. I played the beta long enough to get through the tutorial, and as soon as the load outs screen came up that was it for me. Might be different if it had single player as it controlled nice, but nope.
Probably my single biggest complaint with Assassins Creed 3 was the music, or lack there of. But like above have said, both are essential.
Would be great if Bethesda made this official and released it on consoles. I have yet to play Morrowind and would love to do so with the Skyrim engine.
I still don't think people understand the value add that PS+ is. Let's just say you are a PS4 only owner, so far they have given us 5 games.
Resogun: 14.99
Contrast: 14.99
Don't Starve: 14.99
Outlast: 19.99
Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition: 14.99
That is $80 in content in just 5 months. And if you have a Vita and PS3 this number goes up exponentially.
The Games with Gold "get to keep foreve...
Looks like it could be fun for "tales" fans, but sadly I doubt we'll see it localized.
They really should sell custom hard drive covers like Microsoft use to sell face plates, seems like it would be a popular product. They could still limit the sale of the ones on bundled consoles to only the purchase of the console still making it special/rare, but other options would be nice for people who already purchased the standard edition.
I think dual shockers problem is their name implies they are a Sony centric site, however they cover the entire industry and are pretty unbiased in their efforts. I agree I really like their site.
