Looks easily worth the $15 price of admission. Day one PS4 version for me.
Why do people keep saying the attach rate is higher on the Xbox One? PS4 is 2.93 x 7 million and Xbox One is 2.9 x 4 million. That's 20.5 million PS4 software units sold compared to 11.6 million Xbox One software units sold. And that's not even including digital downloads where the PS4 has far more games available than the Xbox One.
Not sure why people still try and say the Xbox controller is better. The D-pad on the DualShock 4 is far superior to the one on the bone. And the rigid bumps on the Xbox controller thumbsticks make your fingers raw after long sessions. The only thing I dislike about the DualShock 4 is the battery life, but I have 2 of them so one is always charged and ready to go. I will admit I am biased toward Sony, but I put that bias aside when comparing the controllers.
It's incredible how many people have fallen for Microsoft's PR that they shipped 5 million to retailers as sold to customers like the author of this very article. Well played Microsoft.. well played.
OT: Sony had to spend loads of cash to claw it's way back, luckily it had 2 epic generations before it which kept their heads above water while they fought back. It also helped that they had world appeal which actually allowed them to overtake the 360 in overall sa...
I've never had the menus slow down, then again I replaced the hard drive with a hybrid sshd, so maybe it's hard drive related?
Because Sony has a 20 year history and in those 20 years they have supported their platform well after the next one was released. And supported it with a variety of great games over numerous genres. I'd say people are buying it because of trust that Sony has earned with 20 years of being in the games business.
The Wii won casuals and that's why no one cares. Sony is winning the core and that's all that matters. Apples and Oranges my friend.
The bulk of the numbers were sold at launch. Now let's look at 2014, Microsoft announced they had shipped to retailers 3.9 million as of January 1st. As of this article they have shipped 5 million. That means they have shipped only 1.1 million consoles in 2014 and let's not forget these are "shipped to retailers," not "sold through to customers." Those numbers are far from good and that was with the massive marketing campaign for Titanfall and the huge retail d...
They basically already have with the $450 plus titanfall plus a year of live, that is like $330 and it didn't help. Now with no AAA exclusives coming until the fall and the PS4 getting MLB The Show, Transistor, Watch Dogs (best console version), The Last of Us Remastered and Destiny Beta, how is Microsoft going to compete with that? An E3 where they promise games that are 2 years out like last year? Microsoft is in trouble.
26 countries that couldn't care less if the Xbox One was ever released there. There is a reason they are tier 2 and tier 3 countries for Microsoft.. I'll give you a hint, it's because Sony already dominates them.
@BlackTar187: Because Microsoft is quoting how many they have shipped whilst Sony is quoting actual sold through to customers. Rumor has it that more than a million Xbox Ones are sitting in retail channels meaning the sold through to customers number ...
I believe companies pay GameStop for ad space, so it could very well be Microsoft is paying the bucks and Sony isn't. Sony doesn't need to right now as they are selling gangbusters.
Would love an official Sony remote. Really liked the PS3 one and still use it today.
Sony's fantastic first party AAA games, the best console version of AAA multiplats, indie and free to play and all this is a killer combination. Couple that with PS+ giving 12 games free a year and there is nothing that can touch it.
Except Halo and Gears aren't even being developed by the people who made them the beloved franchises. There are plenty of alternatives to those games that are just as good if not better, seems silly to gimp your multiplats and pay more for live and more for the console especially for those 2 franchises.
It's to trick unsuspecting parents who were told to buy the console in the blue box. lol
Yes! YES! YEEEESSSS!! *Happy dance*
Never played the PS3 version so it's worth it to me.

@nicksetzer1: Looking at your Amazon link I see Titanfall at #6 and then there isn't another Xbox One game until #64 which is Call of Duty: Ghosts and that is it for Xbox One games in the top 100. Where as the PS4 has a total of 11 titles in the top 100, yeah I'd call that a stomping.

"best in class" "bleeding edge" Just marketing buzz phrases that really don't mean anything. How about let the games do the talking Microsoft.
