Game wasn't too bad, I wouldn't suggest owning it, but it's a nice rental to kill an evening.
Ugh, I wish N4G would ban twinfinite articles, they're only slightly above a personal blog as far as news is concerned and their editorials and videos are as ameteur as they come.
The way it's worded it seems it may have been the DRM scheme or something like that which made them jump ship.
Apples, Google, Samsung, Amazon, Steam or some other unknown are all waiting in the wings to step in for the next casualty. Every time a company has exited the console space, one comes in and does a better job. We don't need Microsoft to keep competition alive, it's insane that so many people believe this silly notion.
You do realize this site is only reposting articles from all over the internet. Hate to say it's not just this site, it's everywhere, and you're going to have to get used to it this entire generation or this next 6 or so years is going to be a nightmare for you.
So is it metroidvania like Shadow Complex also? If so I godda buy this on PS4!
This is one of the key reasons I chose the PS4.
Aren't aussie chicks kind of tomboys? So this would make sense.
Every time a company has left the console market a more formidable competitor has entered. And since Microsoft is a dirty player the sooner they exit the better. Let Amazon, Google, Apple, Samsung, or Steam step in. It's silly to think we need to save Microsoft to keep competition when there are plenty of competitors waiting in the wings. Also Sony dominated for 2 generations and gaming during that time was premium, We don't need Microsoft.
PS4 is the cheapest console to own of the big 3. With the purchase of the console you got a free $10 PSN credit. Then if you got PS+ for $30 on black Friday you have already got 4 games free on the system:
Resogun: 14.99
Contrast: 14.99
Don't Starve: 14.99
Outlast: 19.99
So far that means you paid out $430 but in return you've got $75 back making the system only cost $355 at this point in time, and there are still 8 months le...
Nothing stops this train.. nothing!
I lost interest after running through the tutorial. I'm not a multiplayer FPS fan, so I can't attribute this to the quality of the game as much as the genre.
It's going to get far more expensive for Microsoft to secure exclusive content and titles for their machine. And with a board of investors wanting Microsoft to invest less and less in the Xbox division, it's going to be a tough generation for the Xbox One.
Played in the beta and it couldn't hold my attention long enough to even keep me playing through the entirety of the beta. If you're looking for an MMO, Final Fantasy XIV is a whole lot more fun and it's a cheaper purchase and monthly fee.
Supercard DSTWO doesn't play 3DS ROMs. But it also doesn't brick your 3DS either.
I've never played a Yakuza, what's a good one to start with as an introduction to the series?
So many articles on N4G from this amateur Twinfinite site, I'm guessing the submitter is on their staff because their site and hosts are utter crap.
Go with the sinking ship Microsoft who don't allow the creative freedom that the market leader Sony does. Seems like a no brainer. But relocation and financial benefits also come in to play so who knows.
If Titanfall doesn't spark sales there will be changes, don't know if it will be a Kinectless sku or a price drop, but there will definitely be changes.
PS+ will probably offset the price of the PS4 in the first year, that's reason enough for me. But then there's the price per performance, diversity in games including Japanese games, best versions of multiplats, history of supporting their console long after they have to, and many other reasons mentioned in the article.
