People like to act like Don Mattrick didn't report to somebody, they like to act like Phil Spencer had zero control over first party games before his promotion, they like to act like a software apu is going to boost weak hardware past it's stronger competition, and so on.. It's amazing the excuses people are making for this company especially when there is a better and cheaper alternative on the market.
I was getting this error prior to the update, and yeah like others have said, just go into the notification and you can manually tell it to update.
It's quite embarrassing that they don't have Games with Gold on the Xbox One. They are charging a premium for the system but not including such premium features. smh My Gold is about to lapse and I don't think I'm renewing.
I've had it on dim the last 24 hours and even though they say battery isn't impacted, my battery life seems to have improved. 4 hour gaming session only dropped it down 1 bar, where it would normally be down halfway.
I see a troll writing on the comments wall.
Seems silly to go exclusive to the platform with the 2nd smallest installed base, and the platform that is the least favorable to digital downloads.
Bought Dust when it was on sale for i think 400 points and Saints Row the 3rd is a bargain bin title that most everyone has played. June should be interesting as both companies will have the spotlight on them at E3 so both will probably bring some big guns, at least I'm hoping.
Though the images don't show it, the difference is quite a bit when playing in a dark room, really like the dim option.
Really like using the touchpad for character input, makes it real fast!
Sony should just announce both sold through and shipped numbers, that way Microsoft can't play their silly "shipped to retailers" game.
As next year marks the 20 year anniversary of the famous $299 announcement, they should come out at E3 next year and say "$299" and drop the mic.
There is a bigtime exclusive drought coming for the Xbox One, I'd say if you waited this long, at least wait until E3 or even better wait until black Friday, I imagine a price drop and huge deals are going to happen by then.
I bought one at launch and all I've played on it is Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Peggle 2, that's it, it is now just used as a TV pass through. I regret my purchase especially after some of the deals that went on last month.
I suck at this game, I've played like 10 matches and only won 1. lol
Pretty disappointed in the Vita offerings especially when EU got Muramasa Rebirth. Also no interest in PES. Everything else is great though so can't bitch to much.
There is no quick fix. Microsoft has been eroding core gamers away since 2010 when they shifted focus to casuals and Kinect. People feel burned and it's going to take time to repair the damage done. The problem is you have Sony sitting nicely in the spot Microsoft was in pre-2010 and they seem poised to stay there. It's a rough road ahead for Microsoft, I guess we will see how it plays out.
It's just another retail channel to stuff to inflate those "shipped to retailer" numbers.
And let's be real, there is no way there is this much Japanese support for this console, these companies know Japanese games don't sell on the Xbox and that the Xbox isn't going to sell in Japan. They are likely registering just in case a reason pops up to put a game on there.
Me2, in fact I didn't platinum several games like Assassins Creed after 2, Tomb Raider, etc. for this reason. Grabbed all the single player trophies though.
Can't get enough of this series, keep them coming Capcom.
Yeah that crappy moneyhat kept us from getting the definitive PS3 version of Vesperia.
