Price point is too high, for $100 more you can get the new hotness. They need a price drop in a big way, it's not like the exclusives aren't there, and PS+ is insane on that machine.
Didn't Sony announce back at the beginning of April that they are sitting at 22 Million units of software sold.. looks at source.. VGChartz.. clicks "no way."
Great game but incredibly short, 100%ed it in a few hours.

Sure, Crytek was able to pull some nice visuals in a corridor action game, but can they pull more than 900p and impressive visuals in an open world game like Infamous that runs higher than 30fps at 1080p on the PS4? Not likely so it's silly for them to continue to comment on the esram and it's potential.
That wasn't very smart of that customer, the licenses are tied to the Xbox Live account not the console, so all your brother in law has to do is initiate a license transfer and all those games become demos on that machine.
And if you're subscribed for the next 2 years and beyond, why are you arguing against the PS+ model in the first place? It fits right into your paying habit and it's $10 a year cheaper to boot.
Why are people surprised, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony have been doing it at the same time every year. I think the only change this year is Microsoft is starting 30 mins earlier.
Insomniac owns the IP and at this point Insomniac can take it to whatever platform they like so Microsoft using a character from the game as their mascot isn't an option. Now if the game is a success and Microsoft pulls out the checkbook to make it a Microsoft exclusive for all future games in the series then maybe.
Or maybe a Titanfall situation where the sequel will come out on other platforms. Guess it will depend on the success of the IP, but it looks real good, like a cross between infamous, ratchet and clank, and jet set radio.
@Septic: Kind of cool to put a face to the name. Anyway yeah your video has also been my experience with the voice commands, especially when it was having the problem accepting "yes" when telling it to turn off. And if you really want to be frustrated try telling it to change to a specific channel if you're using the hdmi in with you TV service..
The game looks like it borrowed a lot from infamous.. and this is a good thing. First game I'm excited about for my Xbox One.
Child of Light and Mercenary Kings getting 5/10 is way low. Both of those games are 8/10 in my opinion.
They should just scrap the ps+ edition of this game. It was clearly announced at e3 last year as a title that could fill the launch void of available game options to give away free. Now that the game is almost a year late this isn't even needed at this point and seems to be causing more headache than anything else. Just my 2 pennies.
@blitz0623: Anything you pay for while subscribed to PS+ is yours forever. So yeah if you buy the game at $49.99 it's yours to keep.
Steamworld Dig is $10 and it's fantastic.
The last exclusive released on the Xbox One was Kinect Sports Rivals on April 8th, prior to that was Titanfall on March 11th. And finally you get Super Time Force on May 14th. Other than that there isn't an exclusive release in sight. It's safe to say they blew their load. Good on them if they can rush some releases to market in time for the holiday season.
Edit: none of the games you listed have a release date, and I'm talking 2014 so far all the way through ...
Did they secure the rights to use Shaqs likeness and name? If not I imagine it would cost far more than the money made on this kickstarter.

The same guy that headed Microsoft Studios the last 4 years of the 360 when they rested on the Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable laurels? Yeah I don't think I'm on the Phil Spencer train yet. Most of these moves are forced because of poor sales, not because of good guy Phil.
