This game was just far too ambitious for the engine and team.
I have plenty of early access games on PC including Prison Architect, Assetto Corsa, Rust and Planetary Annihilation and all of those games feel like fully fledged releases compared to Day Z.
The team can't even get the game to function competently as is on PC, how on earth are they going to release it on PC and console, without the myriad of bugs which have existed since the game was on a diff...
8 years ago MS and Sony said that the PS3 and 360 would be pushing 1080p
8 years later they both release new consoles which 1 can do 1080p most of the time and other not that often and neither can do 60fps all of the time.
4k is a long way off for consoles, let alone the 4k TV market which currently has little to no use for consumers.
