And the same people who said cross gen wouldn't hold back xbox games are now saying that PlayStation will be held back... same crap different day.
I am nearly certain that pre-orders will come in batches. It always happens like this with every console launch i can remember.

But what about all the people who were defending cross gen saying it wouldn't hold back anything on xbox who are now going crazy trying to say it will hold back things on PlayStation.

It's really not. I knew this was the case since Cerny's presentation and Sony even clarified shortly after the event because there was confusion.
The only reason people are confused is because a certain segment of the people kept saying it wouldn't be the case.
But it's nice to have Sony flat out say again there is no whitelist and all games will be compatible.
How is that not what I said? Microsoft has a mandate, Sony does not. From day one there will be a mix of cross gen and PS5 exclusives
Saying they support PS4 doesn't mean the same thing as Micrsoft mandating all games will be cross gen. Sony already has a mix of cross gen and next gen exclusive.
And at least Sony has a bunch of new games releasing launch window, unlike Microsoft which look like all it's games are 2022 and beyond.
The man knows exactly the number of units being manufactured. PS4 had about 10 million by the end of FY 2013. Sony has already stated 16m by end of FY 2020.
Darth they are not going to say 100% just like you're trying to ake a big deal out of 1% here. if they say 100% and someone finds some game with some bug you're going to bitch about that 1% so they might as well just say 99% now. And if 100% works all the better.
