Interesting, Bandai/Namco with the big moves recently.
I really liked that trailer, looking forward to seeing more about the game.
I'm not worried about PS5's performance, Microsoft had 40% more power yet Sony's games looked better than anything Microsoft made with that extra power.
And we'll see how things play out there have been a ton of claims that PS5 wouldn't have some features only to have the devs later confirm that the PS5 and SX version would be the same. 17% isn't going to make any big differences especially if Sony's more advanced geometry engine closes the gap....
You're not arguing with me you're arguing with those devs.
They were listed by Microsoft as cross gen then Microsoft changed the listing. And instead of a mandate they changed the whole thing to developer choice.
If your buying a scalped console your a fool, especially when it's obvious there will be more chances to buy them especially closer to the holidays.
I agree FFXV's boy band road trip really turned me off. It's the only Final Fantasy I haven't finished including nearly all the spin offs..
Me too, I was actually expecting thar ight be announced, they should also try to grab Housemarque
I have to admit I was surprised how good it looked. Bluepoint is really top form.
It's a real shame so many people defendied the price increase. If people had just stood up to it like they did loot boxes this wouldn't have happened. It didn't need to be this way.
But at least in Sony's defense they are creating single player games that aren't filled with microtransations unlike the other publishers who are going along with this.
When Sony gets to even a fraction of the double talk levels that Microsoft has done over the years then we can start talking about tarnished reputations.
But what about the people who wrote paragraphs saying how consumer friendly ect. Microsoft was for having cross gen who are now attacking Sony for doing the same thing.
I don't see any of those people praising Sony for their "consumer friendly" cross gen approach...
It goes both ways.
What I have heard happened is that people scraped Amazon and got the unpublished link then started buying Amazons pre-orders early which is why when Amazon actually listed the link they were already sold out. And when other retailers heard what happened they opened up their sales early too.
Yea... I think Cryengine just can't keep up with the times. I don't keep up with it but I haven't heard of any major updates for it since the start of this gen.
Yes, I'm sure you know more than the devs from three studios that have been making some of the biggest and most advanced games for the past 20+ years.

"But during today’s Xbox Games Showcase, first-party titles Forza Motorsport, Fable, Avowed, As Dusk Falls, Everwild and State of Decay 3 were all listed as coming to Xbox Series X and Windows PC specifically — with no Xbox One support and no Smart Delivery feature. Again, these are all games published by Microsoft’...
It's not going to be doing 1440p and 120 fps on a 4 tf console... much less with RT... don't be fooled by the marketing...
It's like saying PS5 and SX are going to actually be playing games in 8k...
We have had devs from Remedy, Id and Infinity Ward as well as several indies developers say yes.
And I don't think devs really like the idea of the extra work involved with having to create games from extra versions of consoles.

Sony is using a custom designed version of Kraken to work with their custom I/O which includes a special hardware compression chip so it doesn't have to do compression on either the CPU or GPU.
And Microsoft had tree games that were going to be cross gen that they removed from cross gen at the last minute.
Well to be fair it wasn't only that, I wasn't a big fan of the combat either and the story didn't hook me stopped playing and before I went back to it it got overloaded with DLC which I also didn't like. So i have never even cared to return since then.
I liked World of Final Fantasy a lot though, I finished that.
