No, it is running on the RAGE engine which stands for "Rockstar Advanced Game Engine". It is not the one built by ID Games, it is the GTA4 engine.
Yeah, seriously were the hell is Gun II? That game had such an epic story, and phenomenal voice acting, not to mention it was a ton of fun to play.

Well, mine lasted about an hour; playing online and offline numerous times. I gave it a good shot at trying to win me over and I spent a ton of time trying to get used to the controls but no...it just didn't work. And then...POOOOF! It was gone.
Yeah, SFIV is on my list of "must haves" along with Killzone 2. The sad thing is that I was DYING to play Resident Evil 5 and now that I finally have...I am just so disappointed. They really screwed the series up for good. They threw scares/survival horror out the window and went for an action shooter approach but kept the same controls, you just can't do that. It results in a game that just plays friggin' awkward and flat out retarded.
The demo sucks horribly in my opinion. The partner A.I. is non existent, controls are slow/clunky, stopping to aim is stupid and last gen, a shot to the face doesn't kill, it doesn't automatically equip ammo when out, AND MOST OF ALL IT ISN'T SCARY OR INTENSE. WTF! I was going to pick this up, but after playing that garbage I will pass. I guess I should be happy since Capcom just saved me $64.
You can invert the controls, you do it on the main menu. I am not sure if you can do it in game though. I never checked, buy you most certainly can do it, cause I play all my games with inverted controls.
I agree with Killzone 2 and Call of Duty 4. Oh, well Killzone 2 will kick arse anyway and I am sure KZ3 and Call of Duty 6 will have co-op. I don't see why they want GTA4 to have co-op though, it essentially is co-op when you play online- just not with the story. But you still play objectively with buddies and/or go around shooting people and blowing stuff up.
LOL, that is typical Capcom. 90% of their games have an announcer scream the title at you on the main menu.

That ending seems very, very "Sawish". If you have seen the "Saw" movies, you will know what I am talking about.
For those complaining about the 9.5 graphics, you must realize this. Gears 2 was compared against other THIRD PERSON SHOOTERS and in that graphical department for that genre it is by far the best. Killzone 2 is being compared graphically against other FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS and it is second only to Crysis/Crysis Warhead. You have to remember FPS doesn't equal TPS and they are not likely on the same graphical reviewing scale. But regardless good review for a sure to be great game.
I know GTA4 and Crysis got a 10, Gears of War 2 is either a 9.5 or 10.
