Yeah, they need to end the Sonic franchise already. Like Edios with Tomb Raider, Nintendo with Pokemon, Activsion with Guitar Hero, and EA with Need For Speed, we had our fun but nobody cares anymore. After a dozen installments you milked it to death. Just let it go...
I thought Stranglehold was actually really good. I had a lot of fun with that game. That is the only Midway title I have purchased so far this gen, the rest really suck.

The PSN is fine, my only gripe is that lazy Sony only updates the store once a week. I hate waiting till Thursday to get new content when Japan gets it Tuesday, and Europe on Wednesday. Live gets updated every friggin' day like 5 or 6 times. That is the only drawback, IMO, and it is not that bad. For a free service it gets the job done.

That article doesn't make sense. How would a MMO Gears of War work? I mean seriously... the game is a slow paced tactical shooter. You would have to make major changes to the formula. If anything it would be a new IP or a larger scale Unreal Tournament game (maybe 64 players?) Either way, Epic is awesome, so I am game for whatever they make.

It would be nice if the noobs at Treyarch would fix the damn Nazi Zombie mode matchmaking and all the "server error" boxes that constantly pop up even though there is no server error. I am talking about the PS3 version.

Are the Motorstorm servers really offline like the article says? I find that hard to believe.
I have been thinking about getting this game but the lack of trophies, custom music, and the supposedly horrid frame rate put me off. I will wait and see if this patch actually did anything, and I will buy or skip accordingly.
Edit: Is it really that bad? I mean it is just a racing game, how can you screw that up?
That is part of 1.10 which is titled "Cornish Yarg". It is due out within the next four weeks, and is described as a "feature rich" patch, so we will see.

Yeah, Conker is another one of the great original Rare games, along with Goldeneye. UGH, I wish they would start kicking tail they way they used to! Come on Rare, step it up!!!!
EA likely has the rights to publish that franchise. As for Bullfrog, they were merged in 2004, while members of that studio set up Lionhead Studios and some others. So that IP could be all over the place right now. It probably won't happen any time soon.
I hope we get a new Perfect Dark like the article said. And I am not talking about another crappy one like Perfect Dark Zero, I am talking about an old school shooter like the first. RARE needs to make this a hit, otherwise I am sure Microsoft will shut them down. Seriously, what is with RARE lately? They used to be Godsend, but now they cater too much for casuals.
