I swear I am the only one UNIMPRESSED with this, Killzone 2 and Uncharted look much better and that is no fanboy sh!t. Play either one of those games on a 55"+ 1080p HDTV and then get back to me. Cause they look SO MUCH BETTER THAN THAT!

I don't see the point in paying $5 for TACKED ON MULTIPLAYER. I mean seriously, how can this mode not suck? 4 player deathmatch where you can't move?
Oh, and if Capcom was smart, this should have been free and then charge for more maps or other game modes. You know, what I mean. It would have been a little less hostile. If you are going to charge for expansions then fine, but throw us a freebie every once in a while like Criterion, Valve, Media Molecule, Bungie, and EPIC.
This better not be 100kb unlock key or Capcom is going to be caught in a lie.
This is retarded for so many reasons.
1.) Announcing and pricing DLC BEFORE the game is even out.
2.) A deathmatch mode, where you can't move...yeah, no thanks. It just isn't going to work.

Pandemic made the first two games, but yeah, I agree with you. Pandemic is on a downward spiral lately. Mercenaries 2 was terrible from top to bottom and I never played LOTR: Conquest. Either way both games got poor to average reviews.
Dead Space was some incredibly awesome stuff, and I can see why the team wants to do this. They deserve the reputation and respect cause that was one of the best games last year and one of my favorites this gen.
It is part of this map pack which will be released sometime in March along with another patch, at least that is what it says on the official forums.

I really like EPIC games. Gears of War and Unreal Tournament are ace.
A one hit chainsaw kill wouldn't be a problem if I could move, but I can't tell you how many times I would run away, try to turn around and shoot, but the chainsaw dude would be right on top of me and kill my A**. It is frustrating beyond belief.
Playing the demo was a living hell. Hated every second of it. Fighting the chainsaw guy was the most aggravating gameplay moment of my life. Seriously, having to run away, stop, slowly aim, shoot 3 bullets, run away again, and repeat 10 times IS NOT GOOD GAMEPLAY DESIGN! Especially considering you die in one hit with the chainsaw. Friggin' stupid.

I buy a lot of games online, sure you don't get them on launch day but that doesn't bother me. Amazon.com, Half.com, and Ebay.com, can get you some crazy deals if you hit it right. I have gotten plenty of new games for $30-40 about 2-3 weeks after release on those sites. Plus waiting for the deals, allows you to gauge the community's reaction to the game. 1.) Use the PSN servers
2.) Lose the Konami and Game ID crap
3.) Make the DLC purchasable via the PS Store
4.) Add trophies
5.) Stop overcharging on the DLC ($12 for 2 characters and 3 maps)
6.) Make logging on faster and easier. It takes like 3-4 minutes to finally get into a game. You can't skip the logos, you finally get to the main menu, you click online, it loads, then checks for updates, then you log in, then you can finally look for a room. IT TAKES FOREVE...
Not a very neat/tidy studio. Everything is all over the place and those carpets are mega dirty, but whatever I am digging the Atari 2600!!!!!
I am sure the DLC is great, but that is enough money to have funded a whole new game. Killzone 2 and MGS4 both cost around $45 million and Gears of War 2 was somewhere in the 20-30 million ballpark.
They just did the game engine for that game, the game itself was developed by some other team. I forget the name. The only other game Slant Six did was Socom: Tactical Strike for the PSP. I never had the "privilege" of playing that, since playing the PSP hurts my fingers for some odd reason. But I would imagine it sucks, right?
Slant Six is right up there with Spark Unlimited as far as the worst game developers. I have never seen such an unskilled bunch of people in my life. Realism is overated. I'll take the "arcadyness" of Halo and Call of Duty 4 anyday. Socom: Confrontation and GTA IV are perfect examples of too much realism, both are BORING AS HELL, and well Socom is just an all around bad game. :)
