Their "trying" was kind of half-assed though.
Zombi U changed from Killer Freaks from Outer Space, and released in around a year; Rayman was delayed...delayed...delayed... ..delayed simply to become multiplat; Splinter Cell lacks co-op and the load times were completely avoidable; They spent less than $1m making the ACIII port...and the online was broken (might have been across all consoles...idk)
The only thing they are trying at (still a bit half-...
Keep in mind that if the "casual" market has moved on from Nintendo, they have moved on from Sony and MS as well.
150m hardcore gamers didn't buy the PS360. That much is guaranteed.
Comparing God of War, Uncharted and Halo to Nintendo's franchises is a bit silly you know. When 32 of the top 50 best selling games of all time belong to Nintendo (the entire top 15 does too) comparing them to anything but the combined sales of Call of Duty is si...
Getting rid of Iwata wouldn't change much really. They would promote from within, and Iwata would hand-pick the guy...just as Yamauchi-sama picked him.
When Yamauchi was talking about retirement, he requested that, "...Nintendo give birth to wholly new ideas and create hardware which reflects that ideal. And make software that adheres to that same standard. Furthermore, this software should attract consumers as new and interesting. Lastly, and of equal importance, is...
@Guitarded77
It would actually cost Nintendo far more to go third party. Instead of getting royalties from third parties and the profits from hardware (Nintendo RARELY sells things for a loss, the 3DS has been sold at a profit for over a year now and Pokemon hasn't even released), they would have to PAY royalties to the other platforms they are on. The biggest profits might be from software, but it's the supplement of large hardware profits that help sustain the busin...
I keep forgetting that LoS 2 is coming out with all the games already on the way that I am going to buy.
Right?
Wonderful 101 is "meaty" at 20 gigs. 8 is puny in comparison.
Would you rather be paying $60 for 5 games....2 or 3 of which you will never play?
You need to play better RPG's if you think the majority of them are like that.
The developers have it running on 2 Titans and a 4Ghz 6-core i7....with MSAA running at 80-120fps, 60hz.
They could probably get it running at 4k, 60fps with less hardware though.

I was referring to Forza 5 with my comparison.
I am really interested in what the PS360/Wii U versions are going to look like though. Hopefully they start showing trailers for it sometime in the near-ish future.
You can't do anything with it out of the box. It doesn't come with a controller unless you buy the $150 bundle.
If you don't already have at least a DS3 laying around, or buy one....you literally cannot control the PSVita TV.
That's all I'm saying.
In my opinion Project Cars puts Forza, Drive Club and Gran Turismo to shame even when it isn't running at 4k. There are some undoctored screenshots out there that are absolutely mind-blowing.
It's a cool device, I'll give it that.
However, unless you own a PS3, PS4 (when it's out and supported) or a Vita, it is completely worthless out of the box.
$100 gets you the PSVTV, an HDMI cable, power cable and adapter, and the manual. That is it. If you want to actually use it, you'll need a DS3, DS4 or the Vita...and a game....that doesn't need the touchscreen....and possibly a memory card since there is only 1GB of space. KZ Mercenar...
Microsoft paid for exclusivity of Mass Effect, they didn't fund the entire development of it.
Bayonetta 2 is never coming to PS360 or PS4/X1. Deal with it.
Bayonetta 2 will only hit the PS360 if Nintendo publishes it on those platforms.
In other words....it has as much chance of coming to the other two consoles as Mario or Zelda.
It ain't happening. Buy a Wii U if you want the game because it's the only way you'll ever get to play it.
In addition to what R00bot said....."those Mario games" aren't coming out anywhere near Bayonetta 2.
Smash Bros will likely be a big holiday title for next year, Mario Kart will be in the spring....Bayonetta could easily be the summer title.
Heck, as long as there's a month or so between each title, it'll be fine as far as first party competition goes.
"someone who worked with SEGA revealed this information to some of his friends ( my uncle was one of them ) who knows him personally"
Equals
"You guys, I totally know what's happening. My uncle knows this guy who works for Sega and he said that this is true!"
Hahahahahahahahaha.....HAHAHA HA *wipes tear* holy shit....thank you for that. Funniest thing I've heard all day long. No one is going to believe that, no mat...
These "are" used copies.
Yes....they are charging $80 for "Used" Xenoblade and the Metroid Prime Trilogy. From what I understand...most copies of MPT don't even have the steel case.
Crazy ripoff. They are also charging more than MSRP for the Limited Edition of Wind Waker HD...simply because they can.
He gets paid regardless of how a game sells. One of many perks of being a gun for hire.
Oh dear Jesus.
I can't even.....using comments from a developer whose parent company was being split apart...about a system that wasn't finalized...and didn't have complete documentation until launch to most developers......what.
I was going to type out a whole thing here...but since you posted a link, so will I. Read it and enjoy. 4608d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
