Then it's not really a Halo killer. If Killzone 2 doesn't go mainstream and everyone knows about it like Halo and it's played 7-8 years later and still enjoyed, then no. When you refer to 'Halo Killer', you refer to:
Halo: Combat Evolved (5+million/Nov. 2005)
Halo 2 (8.46million/Nov. 2008)
Halo 3 (8.1million/Jan. 3 2008)
"Many game magazines have praised Halo as one of the best and most important games of all time. The game's popularity has led to la...
No, the main argument here is which one looks better. The minute you pop in Killzone 2, it's maxed out. The minute you download Crysis, expect to see major changes over time.
"Just because you can destroy everything does not mean its physics is more advanced."
Yes it does, rofl. But I would love what you're smoking.
Crytek 2 Engine > Killzone 2 Engine..
UK Chart - Posted December 16th?..
Gears of War 1 was a new IP.. how many did that sell? :x
Which would, in theory make it a better game. Not to mention it sold more. So it's obviously a big deal.
I believe MS also owns Lionhead.
I strongly disagree with you(but that's expected since you thought Gears of War 2 was coming to the PS3)

Mass Effect 2 will be exclusive to the 360 for AT LEAST a short period of time. And then probably just go to PC.
@Graphics Whore
EA produced Left 4 Dead and Spore.. I don't see those on the PS3.

wrong reply lol
"il pop it in whenever i need to convince someone to buy a PS3 lol"
If you're saying things like this then I think you need to convince yourself first that it was the right purchase. I just bought my PS3 and got it in the mail about 2 days ago. I was worried that it might not take off, but I'm ok with it now.. and I'm anticipating a lot of games.
Ok.. in all truth and honesty.. that is NOT true. I played Killzone 1 and I really didn't like it. Same with a lot of my friends. It had some horrible issues to it. And I respect the fact that you like it.. everyone has their own tastes. But Killzone 2 looks to be VERY good.
"Killzone 2 will be the official mark of a tide changed in Sony's favor. Simply buying exclusive games/content will NOT save Microsoft in 2009."
Wasn't this stated for 2008 for Little Big Planet, Haze, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance 2?
And then again in 2007 when all the titles were announced and then delayed?
Microsoft doesn't have anything to worry about. Even their really crappy games sell well.
Exactly.. since Sony is as you said, still trying to get out of their losses, they would only shoot themselves in the foot by launching another console. Not to mention lose just about the entire fan base for making them buy the PS3.

In the US I see them all the time..
-Adult Swim has a exclusive commercial that advertises their service on the Xbox 360.
-Comedy Central does it sometimes by saying that the show you've just watched is also available on Xbox Live.
-I've also seen like 2 or 3 different Netflix commercials (One of them being the freaky one with the woman's head half open showing a movie theater).
So yeah.. it's pretty huge here. (Also.. Netflix is so amazing ...
My thoughts exactly.. fanboys can argue all they want, but the fact is.. is that MS is the underdog, and they've pulled through to show they can compete against the 2 gaming giants. Not to mention how MS brought 2 big things to the console industry.
-Internal HDDs as standard memory.
-Unified mainstream online service.
Gratz, Microsoft.
And that's IF it sells that much MORE each month than the 360.. and by that.. it would seem like the 360 would have to come to a complete halt because the PS3 doesn't sell 250,000 for about 3/4th of the time.. same with the 360. Imo.. if sales are continuous, it will take about 4-5 years, and that's IF the sales are higher than the 360.
By the way, just bought my PS3.. it's pretty freakin' awesome.
Ok first off.. how is it even possible for Sony to know how many consoles sell and how many don't at each electronic store they sell them at in the entire world? It doesn't seem possible.
I think that MS, Sony and Nintendo all do the exact same thing.
Durr.. probably because nobody expects the 360 to outsell the PS3 in it's home turf. I don't care how anyone tries to say it.. the PS3 isn't doing that great in Japan considering that it's already been over 2 years.
