Europe + Japan consumers do not = American consumers.. Considering Japan despises HD consoles, and Europe is a smaller consumer (CONSUMER COUNTRY... Not population) country than America.. I don't see where you're going with this =/
So I guess there's absolutely no games coming out this holiday for the 360.. (Gears, L4D, Fable 2, Banjo 3, Fallout 3 (exclusive DLC), Arcade games, Netflix, blah blah and such).
Not to mention the price drop.. people could go buy a $199 3...

Why was this comment rated down? It's very logical and actually makes sense.. and no.. MS isn't going to cut the 360.. they already stated they're going to support it for 7 years. A console doesn't have to be in first or second to sell.. (Just look at the PS3).

The reason? The 360 doesn't have to be in second place to be good.. if the console makes money, then they'll sell it. Microsoft stated they would support the console for a total of 7 years.

You guys realize you can buy a $199 360 + a $149 120GB HDD for a grand total of about $52 less than the cheapest version of the PS3, right? :x

Microsoft can actually lower the price again.. they haven't even used their 65nm CPU/GPU all-in-one chipset yet..
Also, if SONY lowered the price of the PS3.. they would officially not make any sort of profit from the console. The thing just costs too much to make lol.
