That's actually pretty good considering that only the main campaign is 20 for this individual.
Doing the same here. Cyberpunk is definitely a game I'll start on the next gen consoles once I can get one.
I gurantee you that if you were the only person who felt this way it was still be legitimate. Nobody can take your preference away from you...and you certainly don't need others to agree with you in order to feel that your choice matters.
I would as well...but only people that actually care voted. I still would say that they should release the votes by account names or some other unique identified that doesn't disclose any users private information. Just so it's clear that only unique votes were counted and that they were all legitimate.
Did you not read his tweets? He went after anyone who disliked his game. Wether it be the trolls and bullies or legitimate fans concerned with the change in direction.
Nope. Not ignoring. Everyone of any prominence in anything receives death threats. It's not okay but it's absolutely expected. Report it. Inform authorities. Block. Move on.
He can say what he wants regarding that but many comments included and were aimed at anyone who didn't like his game.
@S2killinit
Agreed. Those guys are trolls. And there are legitimate concerns over normalizing some of those things. Regardless of which side of the argument you land on...those people are easily ignored.
You learn this early on in any career or discipline. Take all the critiques and move on from the useless ones. In the current social environment, particularly online, it's the same but over 9000. So if you're going to be a figure of any importance...
These are the insults that neil used as well...it's why tlou2 lost.
Insults and accusations without proof.
Actually if you were honest. You would have mentioned how the quartering clearly states that tlou2 is a good game and was very successful.
He simply points out the clear agenda to make progressive and political games come out on top.
It's also dishonest to say that it's proof that people hated the game...that's not true at all. It's only proof that it is abundantly clear that if not for the issues that people had with the writing and story...
If we could compare all games of this generation. Tlou2 wouldn't make it to top 5.
So many other games with better writing and better stories have released.
Heck I'd take a plagues tale innocence over tlou2. Maybe not gameplay wise...but definitely story wise.
The difference being there is no actual hatred towards neil, aside from some silly trolls. People hate specifically what he did. Neil on the other hand returns that with actual hatred towards people that disagree with what he did.
This is very deserving.
Much better writing than anything I've played recently. And one of the, if not the, best open world game in recent years.
On the other side you have a company that criticized and attacked anyone who disliked their game. Regardless of the actual trolls you should never get involved in petty insults with fans.
Ive seen them mentioned in almost every review. However, the reviewers did get a patch which was smaller than the day 1 patch which fixed a lot of the bugs...it stands to reason that they expect the rest of the patch to fix the majority of the remaining bugs.
It's a shame that we can't see these bugs in action.
I read somewhere that the update is nearly 50 GB so it stands to reason that it does a lot. It sure as hell isn't for multiplayer.
It's a complete lack of self awareness. We dress computers and ai becoming sled aware...yet we should really be concerned with other humans not being self aware.
That is what they used to like.
.and in fact I don't think anyone was much problem with that idea...although it never really was a melting pot and what they really wanted was to make all cultures equal.
But all that is in the past now. Right now they don't want equality. They want special treatment for minorities and other "oppressed" groups. and they want to hear nothing but praise for certain races and cultures.
This alone should make the review invalid.
Political ideologies holds no place in video game reviews...at least not in a credible way.
Due to the popularity of gamespot and how metacritic values certain sites more than others. This low review will have probably affected the score way more than it should have otherwise....and so it would probably be standing with a higher score right now.
@TGG
Just like no one hardly gave a damn about elder scrolls morrowind....and yet it's still the best elder scrolls from bethesda.
Same with witcher 1 and 2. Most casuals had no clue if it's existence. Too much cod in the brain. And yet many others knew how great they are.
This game like some others will be pushed down due to not having a certain political agenda in its game.
In other words. Not transgender or homosexually inclusive as they would like. Which of course is entirely stupid and without any actual consequence.
I'm not bothering to read the review. Some comments below clearly state the obvious issues with its integrity and honesty.
I do hope Kojima is working on silent hill. I want that hypothetical game.
Loved death stranding.. a unique gem in every possible way. And the soundtrack is incredible too.
