Bugs aside ...the verdict is that it's an amazing game. That's not a flop by any measure.
In this day and age bugs are a norm. You find them in absolutely every game. There is a limit to how many is acceptable but it is common place.
Besides the bugs...I haven't heard much criticism towards the rest of the game.
The only big hit on its way that is almost here is halo infinite. And it's not looking to good for that game.
The rest are likely 2+ years away.
I wouldn't be surprised if the drought doesn't end until half way through this new generation. And by ending I mean you'll have maybe 5 big hits to play by then.
In the meantime on the ps5 we already have demon's souls and returnal in March...gameplay shown looks really cool.

Console generation are separated by a release of more powerful systems.
Pc generations are separated by the release of more powerful hardware.
How can it be just a game on pc but categorized as next gen or not on console. Not every pc can run this game.

My brother is running this on an !5 and gtx 970. That is like 5 year old hardware I think...maybe older. He's playing on 1080p with many settings on medi...
They were probably busy dealing with all the bugs.

I would say yes. It's a next gen game that shouldn't have released on the last gen consoles.

Devs returning won't change a thing if the higher ups are the same that gave us their recent experiences.

Yes for free to play, obviously mtx are necessary but not at all for a paid game.
It's cyberpunk. Time and space are fair game.
I would still recommend waiting until you either get the pro or the ps5. Preferably the ps5.
It is very much worth waiting to experience this game as it should be than to suffer through a version that wasn't meant to be.
If you remove the stupid comments in some review that shouldn't exist in a video game review...it would have perhaps made that score.
I remember when I stopped visiting gamespot for my reviews ...after reading some reviews and the review not indicating any serious problem and perhaps only one tiny issue....then seeing the score...it never made any sense. I forget what game it was but one of the complaints was "stock anime characters" which wasn't mentioned...

What about lowering some settings so you get higher fps?
51 fps is amazing for console owners who are used to 30fps.
I bet you could easily reach 60fps by lowering some minor impact settings.
Total biscuit used to make great videos showing which settings demand the most for little return.
The base ps4 and especially the base xbox can't run this game.
That was already obvious to many who saw this game behind closed doors.
Console owners didn't believe that would be the case because they so very self absorbed. CD project was a pc developer first console developer second.

They didn't change their stance. They'd likely continue if not for the bad rep that loot boxes have gotten because of EA
