Both Sony and Microsoft made changes to refunds etc...after talks initiated by CDPR

In other words...you had no clue.

Witcher 1, 2, and 3 released with some serious performance issues.
Not as many bugs perhaps but still had its share.

So in other words...you believed in the quality that is not representative of their track record...unlike that of Nintendo for instance.

Absolutely your fault. Why did you not wait for reviews?
A performance analysis? I always wait for both of those before purchasing a game.

How the death is introduced and how other characters aren't deep enough and how there is no development in characters before they're gone.

But your statement is the traditional false statement spread around to be used against all who disliked the game. Yes. Of course there were a few trolls who disliked what you mention but those were likely barely gamers.

So you need validation?
I'd actually be concerned if a game I enjoyed won all the awards...no game deserves all the awards. Many other games out there that are better in certain areas.

Simply because you liked one game more doesn't discredit the fans who liked another game instead. It sure as hell doesn't discredit the achievement of either game.

Refunds are available. Nothing wrong with hype. Don't preorder....especially digital since that stock doesn't run out.

Simply because they made a buggy mess doesn't entitle you to their free labor. That is wholly up to them.

Nah. CDpr was already a household name for those of us who uad already played their games before.

Mainstream stupidity skyrocketed them to world renown. That could have negative impacts....among them being a tremendous amount of unnecessary pressure.

Big publishers don't respond anywhere near as quickly as CDpr. And they sure as hell dont go around helping consumers get their refunds. CDpr was in talks with Sony to get the refund system going.

It will likely be mine in 2021

Unless god of war comes out....then ...who knows.

Lol. That is a funny glitch.

Yea and i don't believe that's the only scenario were a pc port was utter shit and consoles were much better.

Nobody was crying like what happened here.

I havent played the game and by the time I do I'm sure it'll be more than fine. Probably amazing.

They still got my trust. Preorder culture sucks.

One of the worst in console history maybe...not the worst of course.

Mass effect andromeda says hi.

1862d ago 10 agree16 disagreeView comment

It's literally so unbelievable that clearly there was a misstep somewhere.

That is why they still have my trust. Some games, because of management, are released before they should. No dev is necessarily free from thas issue.

Take diablo 3 for instance. Highly finished and highly polished game. The devs had no reason to really rework the game since the project was done. Diablo fans were highly disappointed but tha didnt matter because there was nothing...

Only to some...specifically very extreme individuals.

Great to hear the more sensible people. Everyone has gone from loving CDpr to being sworn enemies.

When you have friend like these....
I hooe with their next game that they leave the console versions behind and stick with releasing only on pc and maybe a year later on console.

You'll enjoy this game but be aware you will be in the minority...at least when it comes to online representation .

1862d ago 3 agree12 disagreeView comment

Most people. Especially a dev with a good track record is given the benefit of the doubt or at least the chance to fix things.

It really shows that when it comes to dev and consumer relationship. The consumer will kill you if you disappoint. Quick to pull the trigger. In other words there isn't any actual trust or good will.

Biowares and EAs issues were consistent with nearly every game they put out for many years.empty promises and predatory mechanic...

My friends on pc are truly enjoying the game. And they've encountered some game breaking bugs...but as typical with pc gamers. Save often and you'll be fine. Nothing new if you've played fallout and elder scrolls games.

You're in for a treat, if you don't get horrible bugs all the time of course. Just remember to save often ...different saves...if that's possible on console.

If you can play the game on PC it would be fine. But otherwise you could just wait for next year when all the patches are implemented and the next gen consoles are optimized.

1863d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

The visuals on other games are amazing...optimization seems to the the major issue.

Just looking at how top of the line graphic cards struggle with this game at highest settings is proof enough.
