Then you wait. And even on the pc versiin there were a lot of bug reports.

As well as clear issues with optimization...but somehow both of those things went over peoples heads when thinking if it will have issues on the base consoles.

There have been an enormous amount and the majority have been due to bad games with no real remedy for a fix.

Cyberpunk is being and will be fixed shortly.

It won't ever run amazingly and look amazing on last gen base consoles but only those owners care. Nothing is stopping them from upgrading to ps4 pro or xbox one x or waiting for the next gen consoles to launch.

On pc you only need a mid tier pc to make it run well but more or le...

Not any more than others devs. It has always being their money on the line. It's not like they can gurantee a profit. They pay their devs and pay for the advertising and marketing.

Who do they have to answer to and for what do they have to answer exactly?

Consumers don't own them and consumers are free to not buy their product.

They're already working on fixing it so not sure what else the expectation is here.

Runs fine on the target platform and more powerful consoles.

Some bugs but that can happen.

They can show the game running on the preferred hardware and it will look absolutely gorgeous in court.

It's not just cyberpunk. In court you can't say stuff like it was buggy and therefore you can get sued.

It has to be more specific and be able to be applied in other instances. So in this case. If the issue was the bugs then literally any game out there is susceptible to being sued.

If the issue is performance dropping below 20fps then games from the past and games out right now could potentially be sued any moment fps drops below 20. Not to menti...

The issue at hand is if the wrong is actually justifiably illegal and proof of wrongdoing.

Many times games come out with bugs and glitches so there can't be any wrongdoing there.
Performance problems? Many games release with those as well....not proof of wrongdoing either.

The release was just indicative of it being released before fully optimized and polished.

So what was the wrongdoing? Releasing it early? How is that un...

What other games have the kidding capabilities of bethesda games?

What other large open worlds like theirs that allow their amount of interaction are there out in the market and have no bugs?

1848d ago 3 agree20 disagreeView comment

What a world we live in.

Consumers feeling entitled to sue over a game that didn't meet their expectations.

Sure hope it backfires on these investors.

I don't care what crappy state a game can come out in certain platforms. If I make an uninformed decision I'm the only one to blame. Nobody was under duress to invest or to buy their product.

Reviews on pc even mentioned some performance problems and tons of...

Absolutely agree. I'll definitely remember some of the impressive details.

It's kinda why I'm still looking forward to their multiplayer.

Unfortunately for me, the main story will forever be distant memory.

It is difficult to make sequels to the best games though so I get that they did their best.

Some of the best part of the story were joel and Ellie's memory sections. No secret as to why.

Im glad other very impressive games are getting the recognition they deserve.

So it doesn't actually suck but it had horrible press at launch and that's okay

On base consoles only.

On the target platform with good hardware to run ray tracing it looks phenomenal.

Maybe if you didn't play theur gsmes before.

Witcher 1 had issues and witcher 2 had issues. They released buggy and with performance issues. Granted they primarily focused on pc.

That focus is evident with cyberpunk as well. They shoulda just dropped last gen consoles.

I know 2 other people with similar setups as @tedcruz mentions below.

My own pc which I don't have the space to use for gaming anymore is very similar as well. So I know I could run to the game at 1080p settings and have a decent experience.

Nobody is saying there are no bugs though. It's just not as bad for everyone. And if you play carefully and smart, knowing there are bugs, then you should be fine....especially if you have an SSD. Then itsna c...

Absolutely nothing about the game or current events point in that direction.

Also notjing the developers previous history points in that direction either.

Yup I agree

@verminSC

Yea I think you might be mixing the story with the voice acting and animation work. The acting and graphics are incredible and they help convey those emotions you're talking about. The writing is separate and that's what many had an issue with.

That's probably were most people get confused with the issues that others have since the incredible voice acting and animation work elevates any story. Doesn't hurt that the gameplay is al...

Maybe he's just more emotionalñy complex and what you find complex some of us may find as deep as a puddle.

Theres nithubg emotionally complex about the narrative. Revenge gone bad and redemption at the end...or forgiveness whichever you prefer.

That's not complex.

Tlou1 ending was far more complex or at least evokes clear differing responses. But all agree it's great

Stsrted playing this recently after getting it on sale.
It's as good as the 2016 version. I do find it more chaotic but that's intentional I think.

Defijitely getting the hang of it after 3-4 hours. It's all about killing demon's the most efficient way possible while being on the move. There's actually some strategy involved in the game.
