I think consoles might cease to exist at some point and Pc and "Microconsoles" and smartdevices will take over and stream games like PS now.
But hopefully we will see atleast a couple more solid generations before that happens. although my internet should be good enough for streaming right now Im not redady to give up a proper console just over the night.

I am exited about this game, it seems very promising and if its a lie or fuckup then whoever is responsible for it at sega deserves a healthy doese of cactus rape for decieveing Alien fans and ruining the IP's image. Acutally the image might be permamently damaged with whatever Gearbox did to it.
The reviews cant come soon enough, until then all we can do is hope for the best.

My 1 year + old laptop is better and its was like half that price.

Mobile tech android console running Ps3 games?
It is a bit early for aprils fools.
I wouldn't believe you could successfully run a game like say Ratchet and Clank: TOD on even the most badass gaming Rig out there even if there even existed a ps3 software emulation program.
Just no way it can run on some puny tegra chip...

I've been holding out on Outlast ever since it was confirmed to be free on ps plus.
And Im having an awesome time with Last light, about 3-4 hours in got it on a steam sale a couple months ago.

I had the FragFX a few years back and the 2 or 3 hours it worked it was shit. Tried COD4, Killzone 2 and resistance 2, complete waste and it didnt feel like an actual mouse while playing at all.
its a mouse emulating a controller so to speak and that kind of what it felt like too and it was trash, sort of slow and juddery and had problems translating movements I would normally do with a real mouse, especially diagonal ones.
So I stopped believing in those BS converter...

Please stop, YES I AM comparing to 360 "native" games that is one of my points and you just kind of repeated what I wrote. And why 360 "native"?
BAtman and BF3 and Metro are on PC, ps3 and 360 basically they are MULTIPLATS and they perform about equally on ps3 and 360 which while similar in power are quite different just thiink of the Ram and the cell and DX9 vs the openGL based API Sony uses and so on.

Lets wait a few more years if a new generation of consoles will see the light of day they will be running 4K for most games as 4K tvs become normal/affordable.

Well the Wii U's Ram is about half as fast as PS360 and the CPU is horrible as well.
4A games didnt port Metro to WiiU for that reason, they tried but discovered that they would have to change a lot of things to get a comparable version. Dice basically said the same about BF.
Also there are a few games on WiiU that run worse than on Ps3 or 360, like Batman.

DirectX is a Microsoft product and as far as I know Xbox and Windows PC's are the only platforms to have it. and on pc there is also Open GL and soon Mantle.
Id say it got more to do with that Nintendo arent relevant when it comes to graphics these days.

Uhm Im pretty sure Resistance came out with the Ps3 in 06 and crysis 1 year or so later and it looked nothing like the crysis we know now because virtually no one had the horsepower to run higher settings, let alone graphic boosting mods.
At launch of 360 and Ps3 you could barely get better GPU's than they had at the exact time and the cpu's didnt compare because lets face it, those power pc cpu's were abnormally powerful.
