The vita isnt the most fragile thing, but I smashed mine in a car door. It was in the pocket of my jacket and must have gotten beetween the seat and the door I think. It had only minor cracks but it didnt work afterwards.
Insurance is a must for portable devices so Im happy I had that.
I think the old one is better appart from the custom USB port perhaps and I have a 32 GB mem card so I couldnt care about measly amounts of extra internally, but those cards need to come down in price a bit more. I know sony cut prices like 20% a few months ago, but still its probably the number one reason people dont get a vita.
A few sku's to choose from is always nice though hope they keep making a few more of the old SKU until they can make a similar one that is slim....
Still not as old as that COD quake engine tho.
42 bucks for a very recently released game such as killzone is a good price, though if I look araound Im sure Ill find it for the same price, perhaps better even somewhere else. Games on XBL marketplace and PS store are generally overpriced, Ps+ discounts are often very good though.

Not sure why EA havent changed plans after YEARS. I do not doubt that the game will sell millions, but they sound like they made the decition too soon as if they now know that this game would sell like hotcakes on playstation platforms as well. And it might just take half a year to make a good ps4 port? (or a month since it seems that anything that may boot once is a ready product for them./jab)
It doesnt say anything about Bass impact? Just slightly hints at it with the "big booms to whispers" on Play asia.
Really liked Bass impact, unfortunately it stopped working and it didnt get fixed when I sent it in for service and my dog chewed on the dongle so I couldnt send it back in again, so I gave it up.
I might get this new one if it has BI and no/less static noise. PE had noticeable static going on and that is what bothers me the most with wireless ...

Can play the Pc exclusives though... a cheap rig is also good enough to emulate Ps2 games.
Its awesome to play Ps2 games in higher resolution with a dualshock 3 and be able to access the games from a huge hardrive.
Steam OS + Mantle will be my next move, but Im going to wait for the next bulk of AMD hardware to afford proper compatible mid end parts. I have a feeling they will perform better with Mantle as well.

I would rather have cloud services save the consoles, because without consoles the games are doomed. Service goes bankrupt and all the money spent goes to waste and games are no longer available, got to hope that cloud exclusive games will never exist.

The AI should be pretty much not using any resources at all because supposedly the cloud is taking care of that. So the AI should be a non factor if the game makes it to the ps4.
Never truly saw the skull, but I could tell it had "eye" sockets under its skin.
Now that Ive looked it up, Ive found early designs of the alien and a good shot from the first movie where I can see the skull through its skin.

Id agree that Pitchford might deserve to roll in a half full pool of cactus or something, but he has nothing to do with this game. I think it will be allright.
If anything Sega should be kept on a short leash to ensure they wont let this game get fucked up as well.

The alien looks awesome as well. I saw a glimpse of it on youtube and the commentators said that you can sometimes see a human like skull inside its face, and then I saw it too.
Surely adds a little to the creepyness. Dont think I ever saw that in the movies, but I like it.
30FPS is no deal breaker by itself, but the fact that it basically is the PC version with a slightly remodeled Lara and DLC most people probably dont care about for full retail price is.

In general I much prefer proper studio headsets. Gaming headset feels like bad label overall. Some have their pros ofc, can connect to multiple devices and are wireless and neat details like voice and game audio knobs.

Graphics can be ugly as hell, but that alone have never put me of. Weird gameplay, technical faults and bugs have. I dont buy games that I know are buggy, most Bethesda games, Bioware games and some others usually are pretty broken and weird. Ive raged a lot because of Mass effect 2. I loved the game, but after 20 hours I gave up I was sick of all the freezing, frame drops and audio cutting out. Ps3 version.
The next nintendo home console should not look like the Wii or have Wii name in it. It would be best to eliminate any confusion and make it interesting for 3rd parties too.

I had to look for cracks because it wasnt obvious and only minor cracks to the front by the upper left corner of the screen. I didnt slam the door unusually hard and I didnt mean to break the vita also the door shut all the way so it couldnt have have gotten between the door and the body of the car.
